indent Gabriel was not a young-pup ignorant in the ways of combat. He had seen three wars, and killed more then he would ever admit. His blood was driven by the instincts to kill, and his mind was shrewd and calculating. Before she leapt, he saw the motion coming, saw things slow down and reacted. His ears flattened against his head, fur bristling, and his teeth were bared with a deep growl. The motion in the spin was countered by a slight sidestep, and even though he felt teeth connect (though not deeply) his own head whipped around towards her face, snapping viciously.
