Onus was not surprised to hear that he was not the only one that Haku Soul wished to kill. It was a two-way street however, and he knew that there were many that also wished death upon the Dahlian brute. Honestly though, he had said that to Conor more so for the youth's protection than his own. The coyote could take care of himself, and no matter how much it irked Haku, he had permission to be here and to attack him would only be giving him the opportunity to fight him back without having to worry about Cwmfen needing to fulfill her loyalties. As much as he wanted that, he knew Haku would not be so foolish as to try it right now. However, he wouldn't put it past the man to beat his own son for unveiling such news. The man would have no qualms shooting the messenger.

The trip to the den had passed quickly and when they reached it he was a little surprised to see that the boy had apparently learned all he needed to know as far as Onus being allowed here. The man nodded to him as he turned to leave but then Conor turned back to say one last thing. "I hate him." The words reverberated in the space between them and before Conor was out of earshot the vigilante replied, "So do I." He turned to climb up into the tree for the night and had the distinct feeling that this would not be the last time that he would be seeing Conor Soul.
