The poor kid was obviously suffering, and for all her amusement at the ridiculousness of the situation Tokyo genuinely did feel bad for him. She stared fixedly at the rope while chewing, trying to act like she hadn't noticed how close he was to tears, ignoring the whimpers of pain and the thrashing going on around her. She was glad to hear that he was in less pain now, and ran her hands over a couple other lengths of rope wrapped around that leg, trying to figure out which to work on next. Selecting a couple that looked particularly knotted, she spent a few minutes gnawing through each of them, trying to free him as much as possible as rapidly as she could.

That done, she decided to try and make small talk to ease his shame as she unwound each torn piece as far as she could, tugging it out from loops and trying to be gentle so as not to burn him with the friction. Slowly but surely he was being freed. "So what's your name, kid?" One piece of rope got stuck, and she tugged at it til it popped free, then she proceeded walking around to his other side. Delicate fingers picked at one place where a chewed off piece was twisted around a length still secured to his body, untwisting as gently as she could while still making progress with his freedom.

"You smell like you've been here a while. So have I. Strange we've never met." Idle comments in a soothing tone, most of her amusement lost in her sheer intensity of focus. It didn't make any sense that he would be able to get into this situation on his own. Maybe he was lying? As she worked, her mind created a variety of situations that would explain this case better: a mean friend who wanted to play a trick, a higher ranking member who wanted to take out some anger, someone who wanted revenge..
