Haku would never be able to understand the reasoning for her foolishness. He could not understand why she willingly followed a few steps behind him without pitch black anticipation. How could she not realize that every step she was taking while following him was another step towards her shallow grave? No. There would be no grave. Haku was not one to leave evidence behind. He would tear out her heart and swallow it whole; finish her like he should have finished Colibri Soul two years ago. Nothing would change no matter how often he glanced back at the mistakes he had done in the past. It mattered little now anyway. He, and only he knew where the pitch black dagger’s location. He would forever be immortal and spread fear and loathing through the land like the disease he was carrying in his heart.

It was strange to see that his attack took her completely off-guard. Unfortunately the female managed to block off his deadly jaws from crushing her jugular His teeth rasped against her arms, creating lines that released streams of red. She could not block the rest of his muscular body as he slammed heavily into her and caused them both to collide into the ground. Agile was something she had always been, and her face disappeared the moment his powerful jaws slammed shut the second time without their rightful trophy. Her screaming filled his ears with pain. Why did she have to make it so difficult? Why could she not simply realize that the longer this was to take the more suffering she would have to go through? Well, Haku did not really mind either way, but her disgusting noise had to be silenced.

She was quick, but Haku was still on his four clawed feet and as she struggled to stand up and run, the insane Lilium twisted around and trailed her; kicking off with powerful legs. She had tried to run away in the past without succeeding so why try now? The chocolate brown man did not hesitate as he went after her; he simply did not have any last words to say to her. She was nothing to him. Teeth set out to sink into her hip as his claws lashed out to find either a part of her hip or leg to dig into. This was not a chase; this was a hunt. She was the prey. Haku knew well how to take down his prey. This had to go fast though, because through the scents of blood and fear there was this vague perfume of Crimson Dreams.
