How oblivious could the Church female be? It would be truly saddening if she even knew that the things the mother was saying was a lie, to think that she hoped to hurt Ares in some way. But all Mati could think about was how happy the male would be to know that his mother was searching for him and visiting Crimson Dreams in the future. She couldn’t believe it, as much as she had once hoped to know her father and be reunited with him she was able to help someone she really cared for. Her tail moved subtly with the excitement of telling Ares the news, and perhaps she would mention it to Princess, though the two avoided each other like the plague. And now it wasn’t even safe to leave her room door open, with the chance that she might loose something important. There were too many things that Mati had to travel to different places in Halifax that would fit easily in a pocket. She would have to keep her eyes peeled for the girl stalking around her door.
Mati waved briefly as the woman said her goodbyes and turned to leave. For a moment Mati watched as she walked away, as if she might turn back to say she wished to go this moment to see her children. She would have been happy to bring her to the borders and then call for the two siblings. But, perhaps Haven should be there, to meet the mother of Princess, since he liked her so much. It was an odd thought, and as she rolled it over in her mind she realized that the idea of her brother with the dress wearing female was not as painful as it had been. They all deserved to be happy, and of course if she did ever hurt him Mati would be happy to take care of any vengeance. The tall brown wolfess turned and began to head towards her home, her mind strolling through all the ways she might avenge Haven’s feelings if the time ever came.
