AtaxiaDelacour

Female
3 years of age - Born November 20th.

She is of lean build, built like a runner some may say. Graceful with her paws, but clumsy with her tongue she has rather striking looks with her bi-colored eyes being wonderfully contrasted by the light hue of her pelt. She is not entirely white though, having dark patches of stiff-guard hairs along her slender shoulders and hips. While this Luperci female was born with the ability, it is rare to see her take the third form, choosing mainly to remained cloaked as a true-wolf, and on some occasions her halfling form.

Ataxia has always been rather rebellious away from the norm. She tends to enjoy her own company over that of others, being socially inept and lacking any form of social grace whatsoever. She's become increasingly solitary over the last two years having chose the restless life-style of a lone wolf over staying with her small family-pack. It has been a long time, and many miles since she'd voluntarily subjected herself to the company of others, but something new seems to be blossoming within her maturing mind.

Born into a small clan, they were one of the few left. All pure wolves, free of imperfections. They'd steered so far north, and drove out all except their own kin for so long they became entirely isolated. This was before she had been even born really, they feared the infection that brought about such drastic physical mutations. Their fear drove them close to madness, becoming a small band of hermits, walled within dank caves for the entirety of their lives. Only the head of the family, Ataxia's uncle, was permitted to leave the caves, doing so without permission could mean death. She had seen it happen, to a pup nonetheless. One of her many inbred cousins had found it in them to venture towards the beckoning light. She'd never seen such evil as she had that day. That Uncle of hers was not sane, he scared her beyond reason from the first time she'd even seen him. Savages, thats what they were. They feared the mutation so horribly, they regressed into primal states of mind. Then again, she would have probably stayed, would have probably never broke from their ranks and become a primal beast herself. Then again, she had always been curious, at least as a pup she had. Venturing from the cave was something she only braved at night, which ended in her downfall. She lived for the few minutes each day she would spend at the mouth of the cave, she never really thought it counted as really actually leaving. She was coming to her prime, nearly a full year now, and the buzz of spring seemed to make her young, not even 'ripe' self seem all the more appealing. The bastard whom (to put it mildly) had his way with her, had bore the infection, thought she didn't know this at first. She'd been so ashamed of herself, she dared not to speak a word of anything to her siblings or cousins. In fact, it would be weeks before she would speak at all, though still to this day she has never once spoke of what happened to her. She could have just gone on that way, numbing herself with tedious routines and busy work, but after a few days she lost all control. She was sure they were going to kill her at first, but it became obvious that they feared her even more. Even that bastard uncle of hers had run when she rose to tower above them, even though it was on unsteady feet. It would up being both terrifying and liberating, shaking the chains of her kin's deranged clan from her. The first six months past her first year, were hell. And it has taken her so long to reach where she is today, with the hell of the cave-pack now lingering as a bitter but distant memory.
