Open palm brushed over the skirt she had started to wear recently. Clothes got dirty rather quickly and it was not all that easy to clean them. The option of jumping into a cold river and walk around for hours while slowly freezing to death was no valid option at all. All that stained the lovely cloth with the eastern motives was some dust, but she made a note to be careful. While the young hybrid adored her Kaena in every way she had decided to start wearing some clothing again. She loved to copy her grandmother, but the girl had a love for accessories and extravagant clothing as long as it made her look pretty. The clothes mentioned were short, black tights and a long skirt that she had cut vertically in half and attached to the belt she also was wearing, making it sort of a half skirt; allowing her to run and move swiftly without having to shorten her steps. This outfit was worn from now on starting today, and the young girl could not wait to put on her gun holsters in order to feel safer.
She stepped out of the shopping mall and into the brilliant blue sky accompanied by rays from the sun that currently was spreading its love through the abandoned city of Halifax. She thought herself to be very brave for being here so soon after the unbearable that had happened here not long ago. Still it felt like a kick in her guts whenever her thoughts touched that fragile memory. Halo crunched down and embraced herself with a light shiver as she closed her eyes, fighting the stinging sensation in eyes that wanted to finally be able to cry out when no other part of her could. Her fight to regain control of herself became stronger when her nose wanted to close up and forced her to snivel a few times. Oh, bloody hell. She rose again and stretched lightly, looking up into the forever blue sky with soaked eyes that could still see the blood.
