And she was also protective of those that she held dear, and Haven was the beast she cared for beyond all else. Even the thought that there was a creature on the planet that disliked him made her blood boil. A woman once hurt him, and she pledged that if she returned Mati would teach her a lesson if not take her life. Another temped him and Mati had not let her go without shaming her.
