There was something mesmerizing about watching the waves crash onto the cliffs below; it sounded like a melody of sorts, nature's very own version of a drum solo. If she concentrated really hard, Alexey was able to hear the vibration of Mew's piano coming together with the sounds of the sea. What a beautiful song it made. This was a moment she would've wanted to share with Conor; he was dotted with a sensible soul similar to hers. He surely would've appreciated the serenity as much as she did. Wishful thinking, of course. Alexey didn't know what would become of her relationship with the Lilium's son, and such a thing terrified her beyond belief. It took her quite a few moments to understand what (or who) had interfered with her chagrined ballad. The presence of another was not surprising, but the mention of her name was. The Acer turned to face her interlocutor, allowing her eyelids to flutter a few times over her golden-hued orbs. She did not immediately recognize the younger female, not until her gaze found those familiar seafoam beads.
"Cambria!" she responded, astonishment overshadowing her tone of voice. A saddened smile tugged at her lips then, indicating exactly what was going on in the back of her mind. She too, had grown up way too fast. Had it been that long since she'd last seen Savina and her children? Her Italian friend's daughter was pretty, no doubt taking after her mother in the looks department. "Look at you!" The Koios femme abandoned her resting place to properly greet the girl, displaying the enormous amount of respect she had for the Commander's family by doing so. Nostalgia was inevitable. Her mind worked hard to establish a parallel between the shy puppy she'd met months ago and the young adult now standing before her. "You are beautiful," she admitted with a sigh, ensnaring the teenager in a tight hug. "How are you?"
