This is short & crappy but I wanted to get something up! <3

The strange russet woman was out of sorts, of that much she was certain. Her weariness now was well-defined in the Savant's eyes. The way she held herself, and even the way she spoke hinted at the heaviness that must be weighing her down. She seemed like she did not even want to talk to Geneva at all.

Her words were abrupt, and loud. But then she settled some. Geneva locked eyes with her face, concerned that there must be something more imminently wrong with the russet female. Geneva was not worried for herself, but her curiosity about this stranger had quickly morphed into concern. However, she seemed to collect herself and speak in a more reasonable tone.

Before the gray lady had a chance to answer her, Jefferson swiftly arrived on the scene. She realized that it was probably Zynex's rather sharp outburst that had brought him about. The Savant stayed where she was as it became apparent that Jefferson was not going to jump to conclusions. The one-eyed Patriarch had a protective streak a mile long, but she also knew that he trusted her to handle herself at the borders. Even though Zynex had not provided Geneva cause to worry, it warmed her heart to know that Jefferson would always have her back.

"This is Jefferson; he leads here," she said for Zynex's benefit, nodding toward the male. Geneva herself was in her lupus form, more comfortable patrolling at night in her first form. "You are welcome to stay here for the night, if you are peaceful; however, if you wish to have a more permanent home, we would need to know more about you."
