In a way he rebirth had probably only served to separate herself more from her kin. Neither Lykois nor de le Poer's believed in peace. They believed in blood which was a thing that Rikka could no longer bear. She would do her best to turn a blind eye, to forgive her family their sins for without them she would have no life. Still, the woman could no longer condone such practices even if she did her best to ignore them. No validation of violence would ever come from her. Defense was one thing, and that she understood. If someone made the first strike then the clan had no choice but to defend themselves. Defense of self or others were the only times that she could find violence tolerable. Too often though it was senseless. She wished her relatives would learn to fight with their voice instead of their fangs, but it was a futile dream. Inferni had been born of blood and hate and would die that way. It was hard to change such a place's colors, if not impossible

The woman hadn't meant to lead her brother on in any way, she truly had wanted to have pleasant conversation with him. It hadn't been some ploy or anything of the sort, she was not such a deceptive creature. Still, clearly the shift in conversation had angered Gabriel and as the growl came from him she instinctively flinched and ducked her head, ears folding against her skull. Golden yellow eyes were now focused intently on the ground, not wishing to do anything to raise his temper further. It had been a mistake to bring up Vieira and her concerns, she saw that now, but she could not take it back. Gabriel rose quickly to his feet, but Rikka remained hunkered down in submission and a hint of fear. "Yes," she responded to his question that really did not require an answer. The hybrid had not been mistaken, she had heard the words directly from the slight coyote's mouth.
