The voice behind her gave her a shake, regardless of how it sounded. Her head turned to look at Snake as he approached and she slowed her walking down and stood still so he could catch up to her. Her expression was lacking anything decent and so she forced a bit of a smile on her face when he spoke and stopped near, her feet moving again so she did not have to waste time. "Hello, sir," she murmured and lifted her hand, tugging on the strap of the satchel. It made her feel better when she had something to grip, a nervous habit she was never able to kick (not that she was trying to).

"Miss Kaena is sending me to the city again," she explained and her tail swept behind her, tickling the backs of her thighs lightly. "She wants some things for the winter," she added. She did not list the things she wanted but would if he asked. She didn't expect the conversation to go much further, really, and so she made a slight tug on the strap as she walked. Her mind was heavily occupied anyway and she did not feel very inviting.
