Snake's question surprised her and she turned her head slightly to look at his torso, then his feet. She did not make it to see his expression and she vaguely wondered if Kaena was sending him to watch her. She had been out of touch lately but it was to be expected. Her molestation, even if she'd been through it hundreds of times, plagued her mind on a daily basis, constantly, and she had to fight her mind to keep it away. She'd taken to announcing the things she was doing, as long as Kaena were not home, in order to fill her mind with something other than silence.

When Snake said it was dangerous, she did not tell him about the encounter with the strange wolf she met. He helped her but she supposed it could be dangerous. She was not able to protect herself and perhaps he was genuine after all. "I do not mind," she said and her ears angled forward. "What do... what do you need?" she asked and turned her head forward and faced the way they were walking, her feet quiet as they moved, his form overshadowing hers significantly.
