It’d be easier, as some of the stuff in this is yours,” he said, lifting the box under his arm to show what he meant. Regardless of her answer he would accompany her, as he had his own plan. Kaena might not want her taking things for herself, but could she refuse the girl a winter’s-time gift? Snake hoped Kaena liked him enough to let her receive the present. |
