The fish was certainly cool enough to touch with her bare fingers, and the hybrid pried the remainder of the fillet from the dagger and set it back down, planning to perhaps ask Vieira to clean it in the ocean water later so it did not smell of fish. The silver-furred woman devoured the last of her meal, snapping it up almost greedily from her hand and licking the last of the lingering grease from her fingers. She eyed the next cut for a minute, allowing the first to settle in her stomach before she started on the second, finding it unnecessary to respond to Vieira's verbal confirmation. The hybrid watched as the other canine reached forward for one of the heads, and Kaena wrinkled her nose. She'd never been partial to those, herself, but if Vieira liked them, the silvery woman did not think it fit to comment. After a moment, she reached for the dagger again, and used it to neatly slice through the flesh of the second cut, using one end of the pointed crystal thing to shove the slightly smaller piece toward Vieira, taking the second out again with the knife, though this time she set the object down and simply grasped the fish in her hand. She hoped the small gesture would be enough to indicate to the Quintus that it was her half of the last filet.
