The coyote finished her half of the fish rather quickly, and she definitely decided she did not want the heads. The eyes looked positively revolting after cooking, and she wouldn't consider eating that part of it, though she figured Vieira was free to if she wanted it. As for herself, she was full; the food had been warm and filling and quite good. The hybrid woman thought the other canine was certainly proving her worth, if nothing else. There was a comfortable feeling in the air between them, and the hybrid had no desire to change it.
Kaena leaned back a little, reclining contentedly and inclining her body toward the warmth of the fire. The air was already chilly, and the hybrid was well aware winter would be in full swing soon. The leaves had fallen off of most of the trees and the ground would soon be blanketed with snow. The hybrid did not think her cave was ready for winter at all; they had but two thin blankets between them and only a few candles, which were good for a tiny bit of warmth and light without suffocating from smoke.from a fire. The silvery coyote looked to the other canine, speaking after a moment. "I think maybe you ought to head into the city again soon." They needed more supplies for the oncoming frost, and the hybrid woman still was unwilling to venture into the city herself, though this time she considered equipping the smaller canid with one of the knives for her own protection.
