From the look on the young boy's face, he did kind of believe, but like called it something else. Pendzez had only referred them as spirits, good or bad. However, Pendzez sort of thought that the boy knew of what Haku was. Even the son would know of what lies inside his father, like Pendzez does, but what could Pendzez do, being a wolf with a duty of keeping the pack safe. "Yes, there are. What they are, we don't know."
Conor then looked like he was gonna jump up and down, but did not. Pendzez smiled a little to the boy, seeing now that he was gonna be a teacher to someone that was outside Phoenix Valley. It wasn't that the white male had a problem with it. It was training. Besides, the white wolf has not met anyone who knew of the art or anyone who would be willing to learn. "I feel that there is potential within you, Conor. I shall teach the art of Bushido."
