If things kept progressing as they were then this was going to be a very good night. Better even than the metallic hued fey had anticipated. Having someone to smoke and pass the time with was always plenty good enough for her, but to find a potential new lover, well that was just icing on the cake. It had been too long since she had felt the soft caress of another and such things were always different coming from another female. They were gentler somehow, more understanding, as if the nurturing instincts in the two were interacting more than the individuals themselves. It was more about taking care of one another than simply exploring the possibilities of their bodies. Rikka enjoyed both avenues, but right now this sounded like exactly what she wanted and needed. She needed to know that life here could be beautiful. She needed to know that even if she were the only one in Inferni like herself that there were others in the area that were more like her than unlike her. She felt that with Mati and it seemed that their union would be a purely beautiful and wonderful thing.

That was until the frightened girl that she had first encountered suddenly made another appearance. A soft whine came from the hybrid as the other retreated from their contact, a plea for things not to stop. As much as she wanted this though, she wasn’t the type to make anyone do anything they didn’t want to. It had only gone as far as it had because it had seemed as if Mati were just as into it as Rikka had been. Something had changed though and now startled violet eyes looked back to her, confused and disoriented. What had changed in those milliseconds? She couldn’t say, but one thing was clear: her night would not be spent getting to know the earthen femme who was oh so intriguing any better. Before Rikka really had time to gather her scattered mind into a reaction Mati was up and hurriedly head towards the door, stuttering excuses. As she looked at the wolf’s back her hand rose and waved lamely. "Bye…" her voice called out in a dazed sort of way.

Now she was alone again and with a heavy sigh the de le Poer leaned back in the booth. There was no shame or embarrassment; such things were not something she felt often. There was only a remorse that what could have been an amazing night had slipped away. Oh well. "C'est la vie," she said to no one as she got up and looked about for a bottle of wine.
