The hardened floor seemed to vibrate under his creamy paws as he set into motion. There she was, so pretty with a coat merely hues lighter than his. Whether she was an illusion or not mattered little to the secui. In this world there were no rules regarding morality. Haku dreamed of blood and flesh and broken bones. Here she was, unknowing of her own fate. Or perhaps she was welcoming it. Haku did not know – did not care. It was the currents running under her skin that he wanted to set free.
She was large; almost matching him in size. He was the one taking the first step, and he revelled at her readiness. He wanted them both to want this – willing individuals made the greatest challengers. Jaws opened wide with hunger – though it was more than likely that they were displayed mainly for affect this first time. The moment before he reached her, his muscles tenses and his body leaned slightly backwards to decrease the amount of weight behind his movement. Too often they thought they were squirrels that could run away.

He set to snap off her face – well knowing that such an obvious move would not end it all before it had started.
