It had been a little while since she had seen his father’s mother’s sister, and so he decided that for once he could be the one taking some initiative. From the cupboard in his room he found the bag that he and Susquehanna had filled with various objects used for medical purposes. There were several needles of different sizes and lengths with the obligatory threads in a separate pouch within the bag. There were pieces of clean cloth, a limited collection of medical herbs -- all given to him by Susquehanna along with several seeds so that he could try to revive Colibri Haki’s garden and more when spring arrived. There was also a rare, intact plastic bottle filled with a strong smelling liquid that rapidly killed off the most common bacteria wherever it was applied. Purified alcohol had the same abilities, and the liquid’s smell was quite similar to that of vodka.
Once he had everything he needed the boy quickly left the house and jogged in the direction of Aniwaya. It was good to get out of the house. Alexey had brought home a child the day before, and he actually found the little thing a bit disturbing. He was not one to judge though, for he knew that he had been a rather strange child as well. He wondered what thoughts moved behind those sapphire orbs of the puppy called Night. Travelling to Aniwaya took a large bite of his free time. It was the pack furthest away from Dahlia. Perhaps he would spend the night if allowed, but the boy had started off early and the day was not gone by the time the subtle scent of Aniwaya reached his sensitive nostrils. As he reached the well marked borders he lifted his face to the sky and called out for his teacher and mentor.
