Big Grin Hai! 300+

Alexey didn’t know who to address these questions to. The coyotes had been responsible for many atrocities done to her pack mates. But then again, Dahlia de Mai (the Rosen, most specifically) had done them wrong just as intensely. This was no secret. Although the Acer wasn’t well informed when it came to past and current skirmishes between the two groups, she knew what the blue-eyed demon was capable of. This was one of the reasons why she had never tried discussing things with a coyote before. By speaking of things she did not know, the Caregiver risked losing whatever credibility she had. Names were hard to recall, but if presented with some of the older faces around, there was a possibility she would recognize those who had been present during the last conflict. Gabriel de le Poer was a name she remembered, but that’s only because his daughter had been held hostage by Dahlians at one point in time.

The boy’s presence was captured by alert receivers, as opposed to her sense of smell. Their scent hung heavily around the borders, making it hard to determine whether one of them was actually nearby or not. He was young, but Alexey did not allow such a thing to influence her judgement and perception. Golden orbs found similar hues in the hybrid’s eyes, where she lingered in hopes of catching a glimpse of friendliness. No animosity was perceivable, but his gaze also held no warmth for her. She was unwelcomed, just like a coyote intruding upon Dahlian territory. A casual greeting waltzed through the crisp air; the Acer found herself perplexed for a moment, having expected a different kind of salutation. So courtesy between enemies was possible after all. “I came to talk business, if possible.” she replied, emphasis on the last part of her request. The choice was theirs. Refusal to cooperate would result in her departure. “I’m Alexey, of Dahlia de Mai.”
