Though he was technically a man of Inferni now, Silas found himself still wandering back towards Halifax often. He had only been amongst their ranks for a short time now, and the boy had already felt the world around him change. The circumstances under which the Russian found himself a part of the clan were unusual and still offered him grief. Still, he supposed it was an adventure – a challenge to test him and see just how strong he really was.

Back in Halifax, Silas felt as if he were truly at home. He often went back to the motel room where he still kept some of his things. Somehow he didn’t trust bringing all of his belongings into Inferni’s borders. After his little ‘initiation’ incident with Hybrid and Kaena, Silas wouldn’t have been surprised if the Hydra found some cruel thing to do to Silas’ stuff. He wasn’t happy that Silas was a member of the clan, and he knew it. It was better to be safe than sorry, the boy thought.

He found himself in a parking lot that had been mostly retaken by nature. The Russian flag that Silas had in his motel room now was draped over Silas’ frame much like a blanket as the boy lie on his back and stare up at the sky. The ground was dusted in snow, but the sun was out and shining. All in all, it wasn’t too bad of a day. Blinking into the sunlight, Silas yawned and stretched his limbs. He would eventually wander back to Inferni’s borders with his few possessions in tow, but for now he was content was just stealing a little bit of sunshine.
