OOC: Thank you for starting! ::Word Count:: 600+

The weather had taken a surprising turn for the better, with the sun dispersing the heavy clouds and softening their dreary colours with its luminous rays. It wasn't a particularly warm day, but compared to the snow that had claimed its place in the days prior to this, the temperatures had risen somewhat. In some places, the winter's white coat was beginning to melt, reflecting its own demise, the sun's warmth. The pristine-furred Crimson Dreamer watched the small puddles that had formed along the road, relishing their cool touch as they met the fur around her feet. She relished this feeling because it was slightly different now, in Optime, than in Lupus, not to mention the fact that it was rare for her to embark on a journey in her two-legged form. Of course, Halifax had always been a destination she had associated with remnants of life for a different species, and she had never, so far, made her way through the city resembling its former inhabitants so much. But things had changed for the alabaster female, and she did not view her transformations with as much reluctance as before, especially after having fallen back on her human-like attire many times prior to this, so that each new time she changed she felt more and more accustomed to it. The hem of her red cloak swished behind her, lapping at her ankles with each step she took, but that was little bother to her-- it was the only garment she felt comfortable with, finding all the others hindering and superfluous. The sunflower still adorned her short-cut hair, flecked with colourful beads of even sizes, making her contrast a bit with the bleak landscape.

Urma raised her head, slowing her pace a bit, allowing the delicate breeze to gently caress her face as Halifax's contour grew bigger against the distant skyline. The strand of hair that was longer and wrapped, cocoon-like, in rainbow-coloured string, beat against her collar bone, aided by the wind's steady blow. She tucked it behind her ear impatiently as she hurried on towards the city, tugging on the cuffs of her cloak sleeves so as to make them cover her hands as well. The weather almost pushed her into a sprint, and before long she was wandering the nature-claimed areas of the once human inhabited Halifax. It wasn't in many other places that one could see a human settlement be reclaimed by nature, despite the fact that the ivory femme's pack had many places scattered around its lands that still held the imprints of former owners. The big city had always been a different story than those areas, its derelict buildings turned into ghetto-like houses for rogue creatures, so that one never knew whether one was safe or followed by some hidden threat. Just as these thoughts went through Urma's head, she saw a figure some way ahead, apparently relishing the change in weather and the sun's unhoped for reappearance. The stranger seemed content, like someone out for some relaxation, and not one looking for trouble. Urma had not stopped, and although by now she was considerably closer to him, he still failed to pick up on the fact that she was nearby. His scent was unfamiliar, as were his features, but he held about him the touch of a pack she had smelled not long ago: Inferni. Not put out by this rather unsettling thought, she leaned on the wall of a building just on her right and continued to watch the male, her amber eyes taking in the aspects she could make out of his appearance, running them through her head in case they might bring something familiar to mind.
