There was nothing but silence that came to each string of words that Minos gave. Speaking at such length was unlike the white male, and then to have nothing said in return made his ears dip back against his skull and his eyes avoid the other male's face. Nothing? He wondered, just as the Inferni smelling hybrid must have been asking about him. Minos rarely gave more then what his body spoke, and so when more was indeed expressed he was astonished to have nothing in response. The male seemed to just slowly retreat inward, something the wolf was not unfamiliar with. Yet, his sorrow did not come far another pushing his down into submission, as Mino was used to.

Everything about this black, tan and white male was different, and that had made him unsure right from the beginning. Now the Dahlian looked away, eyes closing slow and wonder what he could do, should do to make the insecurities that he felt disappear. His small attempt to answer and please the other had failed and Minos knew only one other tactic, run. Alabaster paws lifted his form, yellow eyes not giving another glance before his turned and ran back along the beach further into the lands that held smell of the pack. It was only instinct that played with his mind, concern for the other male very, very low on Minos' priorities. Tail tucked, he hoped that he would not be followed, but nothing in the other's voiceless language had spoke of being eager to pursue.
