He eyed the girl with thinly masked distaste, waiting for her reply. He was surprised when she said nothing, and simply stewed for a moment. His frown deepened when he saw her get up and proceed to wave her tail in his face. He swatted at the girl's tail, extending his claws and attempting to rip a few pieces of fur off. What a stupid thing to do. He growled, clearly annoyed that she was not taking this seriously.
"Don't dick around, this is serious. Don't shove your fucking tail in my face," he spat, staring at her for a few moments, his lips twitching. He itched to bare his fangs at her and snap at her, demanding she know her place, but that would come soon enough. If she kept up such juvenile behaviour, it wouldn't be long until she fell out of disfavour with the leaders. She'd have to grow up if she ever wanted to fight, be it in a war or simply protecting the clan's borders. Hybrid leaned back and relaxed his features, pausing for a moment to appraise the girl. She had the appearance of a full-blooded coyote, but her proportions seemed a little awkward. She was slightly larger than most female coyotes — and might have outsized Hybrid had he been in his Lupus form — but she had oddly long limbs. Hybrid supposed that could help her outrun her opponents and draw them into a trap, but it would also make close fighting difficult. Hybrid frowned as he continued to study her, considering the possible fighting options she had.
"First off, you need to find a way to fight. You'll never be able to overpower someone, so don't try. You've got longer legs, so it will probably make close-quarters fighting awkward. Know your distance and judge your depth. Don't overextend yourself, ever." He frowned, then trotted over to where Halo was. He lifted one paw to illustrate his example. "You aim for the vitals, things that kill. If you're at a disadvantage, take out things like their legs to make it harder for them, but usually it works just as well to attack their neck. But if you lunge at them and they duck, make sure you can roll through it. Don't just flop on the ground. You'll end up hurting yourself a lot. If you end up lunging at them and they duck or you end up on their back, use it to your advantage. But be wary. If they duck, they'll be able to attack you faster than you can recover. Don't just flail at them, either. They'll just bite your paws off. Make sure you're in control, so if you do attack their neck, or jump at them, always aim to go through them." Here, he took his raised paw and leaned forward to prod at her shoulder. "You can slash through their shoulder, but project through them. Don't just plan on stopping at their shoulder. Always imagine projecting through them. It'll give you more power. Same for the face, but be careful. Again, they'll just bite your paws off if you fuck it up. If you try to bite their face, they'll bite yours. Always know that if you attack, they're not going to back down. They'll just attack back." He frowned, wondering if this was what she wanted to know. He supposed he could go into more detail about how she could attack and develop a system that worked for her, but he did not know what she wanted from him. With her long limbs, she could easily box her enemies to keep them at bay. If she used her Secui form, she'd be able to stand on her hind legs for a bit and attack, but her balance would be severely compromised, and Hybrid didn't know how effective that would be in battle.
