After the meeting, Vieira felt like she was stuck in a pool of water and could not get up. She felt oddly connected to a pack she had not intended to be a part of despite a rank Kaena had given her. Perhaps, she tried to justify, it was because Kaena had been hurt that she felt this way. If Inferni had been at war for any other reason then she might not have felt suffocated but because her very own master was taken advantage of was enough to give her that edge. It was perhaps why the cave was quiet at this time, her tedious work completed long ago and Vieira was sitting silently in her room. Her ears were perked alertly on top of her head should Kaena call for her and she could be up on a moment's notice and ready for whatever task she was willing to give.

Life here was slower than Eterne. There was always something Vieira could do but she could herself in downtime rather often in Inferni. It left her mind blank for periods far too often and left her with no to focus on. She was better off when kept busy and it was why she repeated tasks here despite having done them two or three times before. She was thankful for the legos Snake had given her a few weeks ago and was enough to occupy her mind for short periods of time. She was sitting in her mess of blankets in her four legged form an staring at the tiny building she built the day before the meeting and considering tearing it apart with her clumsy thumb-less paws for the next time she found herself with the opposable.

The base of Vieira's ears tightened as her ears cupped an inch further on her head, the bark outside the den having drawn her attention away from her creation. She was quick to stand and out of the den to find Kaena resting lifelessly on her bed. She was awake and her eyes did not linger for long before she moved to find Gabriel on the outside. "Gabriel, sir," she greeted with a dip of her head and slight wag of her tail before it found it's home between her legs as usual. "Come in, Kaena is resting," she informed and shuffled back to let him inside the cave. She knew not to keep Gabriel outside if he wanted in as Kaena's superior, indirectly as her own, but she felt a little worried without the permission of the elder canine behind them.
