SSWM - 382

A single call. The voice of his King rose and filtered through the air, and Heath heeded the command. It was odd, for he had been standing at the shore, alone. Neither Stark not Lumière accompanied him. The small kitten he and Ruri adopted had stayed home as well. Dark clouds rolled in form the ocean, threatening the shore. Too far out to know if they would hit land or drift off into the dept of the wide ocean Heath did not worry, and only examined with a reflective curiosity. His mind was allowed to filter out the things that mattered so little. The details that he could neither control or keep strait. Instead his focused on the tasks that would keep him busy and distracted. There would be more blankets needed, water was to be drawn from the nearest stream in the morning and hay let down from the loft. The Marshal was finding the tasks in the stables were no more then habit and routine. Working with each horse, maintaining those that had already been trained and breaking those that needed it. Winter had put a halt on most of the outdoor work, but he still tended to them each. With the routine came a simplicity and calm the once riled and shot fused male needed.

Heath let the thoughts fall to the waist side as he walked towards the hotel. Having never explored the area the coy male used is nose to find the scent of pack mates and more specify his beloved Ruri and followed the trail diligently. It did not take long to find the gather that had accumulated. His eyes grazed over the King that had song for his followers, but his honey orbs fell on the blind females face and lingered on her form as he wandered towards Haven. Knowing that Ruri now belonged among the leaders of the pack Heath did not make a strait shot towards her. Instead he roamed through the crowd in silence and settled beside the Knight whom smelled of horse and stables.

The hybrid gave a nod to the orange tinted male, but stood in the space that separated Haven from the Dauphine. Forcing his gaze upon the King, Heath merely waited for what had brought them all here.
