Sic had never been to a place where four legs were more common than two. Cities didn't make for easy Lupus living, and most of the canines who preferred to live that way didn't come into the city very often. It wasn't as if Sic had never seen a four-legged wolf before; that would have been totally stupid, considering he was born as one, but it weirded him the hell out that it seemed most everyone here did prefer their four legs. At Kai's comment Sic almost interjected that perhaps it did make them better, but he thought better of himself. Kai was the leader, after all. Thanks to his first impression Sic had to keep reminding himself of that. "Ah. Well. It does make it easier, so..." the wolf said, trailing off. He wasn't the one to give out the orders; that was Kai's job. Still, Sic could certainly make suggestions about how to make their lives easier. He wasn't a damn robot, after all..
The fire was going nicely; the debris still left in the fireplace from the last Luperci inhabitant had sparked up nicely, and in a few moments they'd have a nice, warm fire. Kai spoke again, and Sic twisted his head to watch as the other man rather unceremoniously ended the conversation by jumping over and onto the couch, promptly shutting his eyes to go to sleep. Sicarus frowned at that, and twiddled his thumbs for a moment, his orange eyes darting over to watch the fire begin to consume the wood of the table. He sighed softly and crept over into the tiny kitchenette, deciding to poke around a bit before laying down. He was kind of tired, too, but he wanted to see what the previous occupant had left behind for them before settling down, so he went about quietly pulling drawers out and opening up cabinets, peering around inside of them for anything good.
Nothing caught his eye, so he returned to the living room, shooting Kai a look. The man was snoring softly, soundly asleep. Sic sighed; perhaps he would come to some better accord with his new roommate when they woke up later. For now, the tawny wolf jumped up into a loveseat, curling up onto himself and fluffing one of the throw pillows for his head, dozing off after only a few comfortable, warm moments.
