She's to much to handle

Firefly wasn’t certain what to make of the mess before her. In the past she’d always been her brash ill tempered self and let the poor newcomers at the borders suffer her wrath until they either ran or joined. Oddly enough she never sought them out after that and it seemed most were wise enough to leave her about her business. In the past month that she’d spent cuddled up beneath the blankets with their king she realized that she’d missed a lot; the pack meeting showing her just that. So many new faces and names and she knew little or nothing about most of them. She should have realized that Jacquez wouldn’t have cared that she had been slacking in her duties since she was warming his bed at night instead. She groaned inward at the realization and vowed to herself to spend more time along the borders if possible.

The Sadira woman hadn’t even thought of the fact that sooner or later she wouldn’t be able to move far away from her cabin anyways. She just left it alone, not wanting to think on that future too soon. The middle of a war was not the time to be bringing up pups. She let her mind drift for a moment while she listened to Vigilante speaking to the newcomer. She would have just let it be and left since it seemed that the male had the same train of thought as she had. She didn’t think that he would allow the woman to be let loose in the pack’s lands without some thought to what trouble she could get into, she reminded herself though that the blood hued woman hadn’t even mentioned needing or wanting a place to reside yet. It seemed that this was a rather fishy situation still and she liked nothing of it.

Vigilante had ended his rambling speech to the stranger and Firefly let her eyes trail back to the woman, keeping her gaze there as she waited to see what the loner had to say. The lady seemed a bit twitch and it took her a while to find her middle ground as she finally did speak up. Firefly watched her quietly as she went on to explain herself a little. Something wasn’t adding up though in Firefly’s mind as she narrowed her orbs ; a frown set upon her ebony lips as she caught the second language the woman muttered in. Firefly had lived on the sea for quite time and learned a variety of colorful words in a multitude of languages.

She bared her fangs slightly when the woman spoke, letting her know there was a little bit of understanding to her words, even if she hadn’t followed the whole of it. When the woman fell silent finally Firefly stood glaring at her. She wasn’t certain she believed much of what the child had said and she knew that it probably showed. Her voice was low as she asked. ”What is your name..” Her eyes trailing away from the woman and settling on the leader as she dryly stated, ”It’s your call, but the foundation of it all reeks of rot.”

The young woman might not even have noticed her slip in words but Firefly had. She’d stated she’d had to leave her home for dispute but she’d spoken of not knowing anything of joining another. Even if she had been born into a pack she would have seen others being greeted and her family would have taught her the proper mannerisms and requirements of submissions required of the different ranks and diplomatic procedures. Either that or the woman just didn’t give a shit.”If she is a spy it’s better to know where she’s at than grow suspicious at every corner and just at every shadow..” Firefly let her gaze fall back on the youthful woman as she waited to see what Vigilante would say and do. Hoping that the young thing would falter and give away some little bit of truth to who she really was.
