She's to much to handle

####The workings of both packs involved in the war directly were not anything he was aware of, but Vigilante did recognize the names of both leaders of the packs. It seemed logical that Firefly would think a bit more highly of Gabriel than Haku, considering that she and Jacquez both seemed keen on siding with the coyote clan in this war. This girl was not a coyote, but she did not share any scent with his crazed niece, and that led him to believe she probably wasn’t involved directly. That did not mean she never would be, and he was wary of the idea of accepting anyone that might bring more involvement to Cour des Miracles. The Constable did not want the pack involved at all, but he respected that some members had personal reasons for getting involved. He wished that there was no reason for the pack to even be concerned, but it was an unrealistic wish. As far as he knew, wrongs had been done in the past that some felt needed to be made right, and now was apparently the time for all of it to happen. That was their choice, their decision to make, and they deserved to be able to without too much questioning.

####Gunner’s previous standing within any former packs she had resided in was not something that he wished to dwell on, but he could not simply leave it well enough alone. There could be a reason for such a thing, and he did not think it was particularly easily ignored. “If you have done anything in your past that could be problematic here, then leave, now,” he warned, knowing full well that she would not willing volunteer the information. She seemed to have finally gotten the hint that he was the one in charge and that she was not acting in an acceptable manner, but he did not expect that she would be keen on explaining just what it was that she had meant by that comment. At the very least, it should be easy enough for her to know her place if it was one she had been in prior to coming here. His patience was vast, but he had no need for someone who acted like she did. For now, he would allow her to stay in the pack until she would be able to prove that she had learned a lesson in respect and boundaries.

####There seemed very little room for discussion now, and Vigilante wanted to get on with his patrolling now that this was over and done with. He did not care whether or not Firefly wanted Gunner to stay out of her hair, because it was not his problem. Gunner seemed like the type that would cause problems, and he did not think that Firefly would be afraid of showing the girl exactly what she was dealing with. “If she bothers you, you know that you are fully within your rights to put her in her place,” he suggested to his pack mate quietly, emerald gaze searching for hers. The two females would probably run into one another again, and he knew that Firefly would be able to handle anything the girl tried to throw at her, and she would dish it out threefold. “Since it seems that there is nothing left to do here, I am going to take my leave now,” he explained, mainly for Firefly’s sake than Gunner’s. Turning back to Gunner, Vigilante growled one more warning for her. “Learn your place,” he said, and then he fluidly shifted back into his four-legged form with another look at both females before taking his leave.
