However mad she might have been, Lillith took great care of her health in hopes of one day, bearing hallowed children that would change this world. A partner had yet to be chosen though. There was no certainty as to who would be granted such an honor. The Dahlian Rosen, being the most logical choice, had already shamed himself by procreating an army of bastard children. Her thoughts travelled to his youngest, doomed from the start, thanks to his mother’s unworthiness. Never would she subject her progeny to this kind of humiliation; they would have guidance and proper education, and they would one day ascend to supremacy.
Fantasies of the sort were not uncommon, hence why she did not immediately decipher another’s presence in the vicinity. The sight of a charcoal-hued male, similar in terms of coloration, was first greeted by the widening of her pupils. It was a reaction atypically placid for someone such as herself, especially in the presence of food. She peeled her gaze away from his tangerine orbs, long enough to give the half-frozen doe a look over. Was it his? That seemed unlikely, judging by his strangely calm behaviour. Her hunger had been satiated, but this mattered little as she took a possessive step in front of the meal she had appropriated herself. Her expression mirrored no outright aggression, but her actions spoke for themselves. She was defending what was technically hers, and there would be no sharing unless a miracle ensued.
