ooc: sorry for slowness on my end too... and the more shortness of this because I'm in a bit of a hurry! 
A white ear flicked to the side as Xeris heard a small voice from nearby. Turning to look, she noticed the tiny dark-furred pup looking up at her. She couldn't help but smile as she knelt down to get on a closer level with the young girl. "You must be Rio," she said. "I'm Xeris. I remember seeing you once before. You were much smaller then, you probably don't remember it." By this time, the children had taken notice of the newcomer as well, and had stopped pouncing on each other to look with curious eyes. "Rio?" came the small voice of Xion. Her eyes, the one red and the one gold, took in the other pup as she stepped forward before her brothers. "Hi! I'm Xion." Xeris chuckled at her daughter's eagerness; maybe the two girls would become friends. "How are your siblings and your mother doing?" Xeris asked Rio, hoping that being friendly would help the pup to not feel intimidated. |
