What's This? ___ The BS Matchmaker contest is a spoof on "matchmakers." We start off by submitting names to the game. We'll randomly pick out two characters to be "mates for a day," otherwise known as matches. You will roleplay out one thread with your match. It won't count IC'ly as far as character history goes, so even if you get hooked up with someone you hate, you can still be mates with them. When we're all done with the threads, we'll archive them, and then accept nominations from a number of categories (eg, Best Match, Worst Match, etc: much like the Yearbook Superlatives). When we're all done with nominations for the category, we'll set up poll threads and then everyone can vote on it! Winners of each category receive an icon in their title. ___ You may submit category suggestions while signing up. Anyone is welcome to suggest categories (you don't need to participate to contribute!) Category submissions will end one day before threads do to give you time to think of ideas. The number of categories will depend on the number of ideas received!

Matchmaker guidelines ___- You can join with all of your characters, if you so desire. We'll make sure you don't get paired with yourself. ___- Do not roleplay sex threads. This is about being mates, not screwing. ;P ___- Threads should be at least 15 posts long. If your thread is under 15 posts by April 10th, it won't be eligible for nominations. ___- Puppies may sign up, too! We'll just pair you with another puppy. If your character is about to receive an adult rank, please make note of that when you post his or her age and let us know the date your character is set to receive an adult rank. :] ___- Matchmaker threads are to be made in this forum.

Important Dates ___Feb 11 — Sign-up begins. Suggestions for categories open. ___Feb 14 — Matches created; threads started. ___Feb 26 — Category suggestions closed. ___Feb 28 — Threads ended; nominations accepted. ___March 5 — Nominations ended; Polls posted. ___March 7 — Polls ended; winners selected; contest released.

How to sign up ___ Just post here with your: Character's Name Character's Age Character's Gender Character's Sexual Preference Nomination category suggestion ___ In a few days, the next stage, the matchmaking, will begin. Remember, you can sign up with as many characters as you want.
