He stood awkwardly and looked around, studying the house, Alexey, glancing about to spot Night. Conor was slower than him, and it granted him a little bit of satisfaction. But, not many moments after he had walked in to stand there waiting on his two legs, his brother joined them, and soon Alexey decided that they were to go now. She scooped one puppy up, and Emwe mirrored her, taking one at random. It was strange to carry him (for it was the boy, Dexter), and even stranger to not ahve to use his mouth. Dexter moved about and did not want to be carried; the child was stubborn and wanted to walk himself. But, they didn't have time for their poor walking skills to slow them down, and so Emwe held him firmly, yet awkwardly. After all; Emwe was just barely an adult himself, and had never really held a puppy or been with a puppy properly after he went from being one himself. Sure, Night was around, but that puppy wasn't the same. These ones were smaller, and they were his aunt's. He hadn't liked what had happened to his aunt, not in the slightest, and he still thought about it every day. Though, in this bundle of feelings, and in his awkwardness of holding and seeing these pups of hers, he could not find an essence. He felt things, but he didn't know what they were. Right now he did, too, and he knew some of it was regret and sadness for leaving their home behind. The rest; he didn't know. They started walking eventually, and Emwe didn't say anything, merely glanced at his brother at the small-talk offered by their caretaker. He did not care, but maybe Conor would. Perhaps it was not long until Emwe would find his own place to live, perhaps not. He didn't know.
