Let's see how far we've come!

Firefly wouldn’t have believed it if she didn’t already know Jac and his silly ways. She was silent for once as she watched him like a player in the theatre concocting some famed tale on how he had been the victim in some terrible fate. She just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms as she watched as he threw his flirting affections at the young girl. Firefly knew she was much too young for the king but something still sparked inside her at seeing him plying his charms on another. She just narrowed her eyes slightly as she flapped on hand on a thin wrist at the girl. ”Oh yes, believe everything you read.” She rolled her eyes and shook her head. ”you’d be doing better to trust common sense rather than books.” She really didn’t care what the girl did but it seemed she was about to become part of the pack so she would have to live with her in one way or another.

Her eyes cast upwards as the skies rolled, the thunder growling as she caught the last words that Jacquez had asked her. Firefly really couldn’t believe he was going to play up the wound story again. She sighed and stated rather dryly after Orin begged to hear the story. ”I for one would prefer to keep try tonight, if you all don’t mind?” She was interested in hearing more on the lies that Jacquez would flaunt but she wasn’t going to say that outright, instead she would wait to see what was next for the wayward king and his court of rogues.

She flicked her eyes back to Jacquez, a brow raised, showing her pressing need for him to hurry about his games if he must, but she would like to get out of the threatening storm. She figured that it probably wouldn’t just be rain with the cold chill in the air. Rain was bad enough, snow worse, but a mixture was not something she could deal with. She ran her fingers through her curly locks as she tried to braid her hair back from her face as she waited. She knew Jacquez would care little for her impatience and if she wanted to hear more stories she would have to wait for his command to find the comforts of shelter.
