Height & Weight

Lupus: xxlbs, xxin tall, xft long

Secui: xxlbs, xxin tall, xft long

General: Being in her adolescent stages, Bris is just maturing to display the grace and fluidity usually found amongst the females of the Stormbringer bloodline. Her somewhat diminutive stature hints at the eventual settling into such a build, though her legs are seemingly too long for her body in her current stage of growth. Small ears and a dainty muzzle lend to this allusion to her future beauty, though it will still be a few more months before she has settled into her mature, womanly figure.

Eyes: Her right eye is a deep and royal violet, her left is a vivid and bright cobalt blue.

Coloration: Contrary to her Stormbringer build, Bris displays the dominant coat color found amongst their rivals: the Dawnrunners of her father's blood. Her silky fur is an ethereal silvery white all over, offset by the charcoal hue of her nose and pawpads.

Clothing: Bris wears none, feeling that they are too restrictive and preferring her natural fur to any other covering.

Accessories: A slave-style silver earring in her left ear, a tribute to her sister Kol. The thunderbird- engraved ear cuff that makes up the top half of the set was, in fact, Kol's. The lower portion is made up of a turquoise cobochon with two silver feathers dangling from it.

Scars: One diagonal one that stretches just over a foot across her right ribcage below her chest. Two identical scars cross her palms, one across each, horizontally.

Tattoos: None.

Piercings: See Accessories.

Personality

General: Bris tends to be friendly and polite, an outgoing personality eager to prove herself and make friends. She looks for the good in everything and everyone and always seems to have an optimistic outlook.

Speech

General Style: Bris' voice is a soft, lilting alto. She carries no discernable accent, having been raised in the area of Souls. Her manners are polite and friendly, and she seems to speak with ease and confidence, a result of the confidence that finding her own place in the world has given her.

Beliefs & Ideals

Sexuality: Heterosexual, though she believes love comes in all forms and has no prejudice against anyone of a differing preference.

Religion: The Stormbringers follow a polytheistic belief system based around the central concepts of Nordic traditions, with a few differences in point of view. They share this system with their longtime enemies, the Dawnrunners, who also believe that the Stormbringers are descendants of the demon wolf Fenris, and that it is their divine duty to wipe them from the face of the earth.

Prejudices: Mistrusting of Inferni and coyotes in general, though no outwardly antagonistic.

Lifestyle & Behavior

Residence: A spacious bedroom on the second floor of a large Victorian house, near the center of the town of Wolfville in Dahlia de Mai. She shares this house with several others, including her nephews, the Dahlian pups, Conor Soul, and Nayru.

Favorite Haunts: Flander's Field, Wolfville, Berwick, Oyvind Island, Ethereal Eclipse

Hobbies: Reading, jewelry making

Abilities

Skills: Reading in English, jewelcrafting

Strengths: Outgoing, patient, peaceful, loving, loyal, devoted, open-minded, seemingly confident

Weaknesses: Stubborn, emotional, unwilling to bring others into personal conflict, low self-esteem

General: It seemed that the Stormbringer line at one time had been destined for extinction. The only two remaining members, twins named Ravyn and Crow, were the sole survivors of a terrible plague that had struck their pack without warning. In the fit of terror, the sister had abandoned her frailer brother as their mother lay twitching in her death-throes, but fate and fortune would prove the twins to be far more hardy and lucky than they'd ever dreamed. Both survived their childhood with the help of fate, even surviving a near-fatal reunion that had pitted the two at each other's throat. The twins managed after a time to reconcile with the help of Ravyn's headstrong daughter Rain, and the two had parted ways to establish their futures. Ravyn accompanied her beloved mate, Freak Oriel, back to his homeland, and in the course of Crow's travels he finally met a woman named Surind who could fit with his nature and complete his existence. Each sired many children with their respective mates, many of them possessed of their line's adventurous nature and seeking their own destinies in faraway lands when they'd come of age.

The young female known as Bris knew the origins of her birth, even if her mother's relatives had all tried to hide it from her. The Stormbringers had never meant to make the girl aware of her stigma, but there had always been something peculiar in the way they looked at her and her two littermates. It was far different than the loving, bemused glances that were directed toward other pups of her generation, especially once Kol's and Elliott's brood were born. No, the glances spared in her direction always had a barely veiled hint of contempt behind them, along with something else. The discomfort the eyes of her mother's pack had brought her would take time to unravel, but Bris eventually realized the emotion she couldn't place was fear. They were afraid of her, a pup, and that realization had sparked the desire in the dejected little female to find out why.

Amongst her Stormbringer relatives, there were four from whom neither fear nor contempt ever seemed to surface for the girl. Crow's silver eyes only seemed to show a smoldering wrath behind his affection for her, as if he was somehow angered by something having to do with her birth. Her mother, Draneia, loved her and her littermates unconditionally, but Bris would catch the tiniest hint of disgust when she'd suddenly show up to surprise her mother, her white coat glaring at her brightly. Draneia would recover almost instantly, but the pup never failed to feel the unintended rejection regardless. The other two with whom she felt the most comfortable were her half-siblings, Kol and Dreyrugr, and Kol's mate Elliott by default. It was Kol, in fact, who finally gave into the child and revealed the circumstances of her birth, and why she had no father to speak of.

The revelation that Bris' mother had not only been forced to bear children, but that the mating was carried out by a zealous member of the Stormbringers' arch enemies, the Dawnrunners, had horrified the pup. Kol had done what she could to comfort her, and Bris had promised not to let on that she knew the truth, but the knowledge had begun to eat the girl inside. The condemning glances and whispers seemed to grow louder and more intense, the young wolf's imagination lending the gestures more severity. She was the daughter of a demon; her very presence cursed the pack. It mattered little that her littermates bored the same taint, for she was the only one whose curse was broadcast by her very appearance. The most common coat color amongst the Stormbringers was a beautiful, sleek black. Most other colors were usually of some deep, dark shade. Bris' glaring white pelt stood out like a cursed moon amongst the shadows, making her the central focus of her family's derision.

Bris had made the decision long ago to run away as soon as she was sure she could survive on her own, and once her half-brother went missing, she recognized the opportunity. The pup used his disappearance as an excuse to slip away, telling her mother and Kol that she was going to follow his trail to Souls and find him. Kol had accompanied her over halfway, leaving the pup only when she was certain the girl knew the way. She'd even given the youngling a few names to search out upon her arrival, and told her exactly how to make her way straight to Dahlia de Mai. It hadn't taken long to find after that, and a brief, businesslike meeting with one of the leaders cemented her acceptance into the pack's ranks.

A month later came the first signs of her first change. Her body was restless, and her mind raced along with her heart. Bris knew what the symptoms meant, but she'd always assumed she'd have family around to coach her through the frightening transformation. Yet neither Kol nor anyone else had followed her to Dahlia after all, and after a week of fighting the urge to shift Bris became fearful and desperate. Fleeing the lands of Dahlia de Mai during the night, the young girl sought out her older brother not far from the combined lands of Souls.

Dreyrugr was able to guide his sister through the difficult experience of her first change, but she found she was reluctant to leave his company immediately. Knowing her absence from Dahlia would be noticed eventually, Bris allowed herself a period of two weeks to visit with her brother. Unfortunately for her, two weeks turned into three months before she realized it, and it was only the sudden appearance of her sister Kol's scent in the territories that made the girl realize she'd been away for far too long. Having two reasons now to return to the pack of flowers, Bris made her way back, her ears pulled back in apologetic shame. Only time would tell what this second chance with Dahlia would grant her.
