King didn't recognize the stranger, so he bristled a little at the familiar tone that the large male used to address his mother. The rest of the words spoken, though, caught him a bit off guard. Our son. His blue eyes swung accusingly towards his mother, seeking some sort of confirmation or denial. Seeing his puzzled expression, Tokyo gave a brief nod. "We're doing splendidly. He's growing up fast, growing larger every day. Sound of mind and body, already starting to speak up a storm. And yes, King, this is your father. Remember, I told you about him? Haku Soul, he is the most powerful wolf in this pack." King decided that he liked the sound of that, and wandered closer to the adult male, absolutely and utterly fearless.

"How did you get so big?" He queried simply, choosing to ask that question because he wasn't sure on the word to describe all the weird pink scars tracing the form of the other male. And Haku was big compared to his mother, who was below the average size of a wolf. He hadn't actually met many other members of his pack yet, at least not since his eyes had been open to observe them. There had been the one scuffle with Firefly that he had witnessed, but he had been cranky then and spent most of that encounter buried in the bag that Tokyo used to tote him around.

Tokyo was glad to see Haku, and the smile on her face showed it. She was flattered that he seemed to be taking an interest in their son. Of course, on a scale relative to the general population he was rather neglectful. King was one month and a week old, and this was only the second time Haku had dropped by to see him. But.. compared to Raphael, who never once was there for her children (of course, it was Tokyo who had driven him away..) and Champ, who had similarly abandoned her.. Well, to Tokyo, Haku seemed a shining example of good fathering.
