Anann

The sun now shown beyond the peeks of the evergreened trees and behind the veil of thin hazy clouds. It had come to full height as they spoke at the base camp the once stranger had made beyond the pack’s borders. Heath now led the female to his once home, the loft above the horses no longer his resting place. The roof of the stables could be seen against the wintry sky, the thin layer of snow that still clung to it pillowing atop the ancient wood. Gold eyes looked at the peak, and kicked the mellow stallion into a trot, hoping to moved closer at a faster pace. Stark was not one to grow excited about anything, let alone returning to his home. But he did not protest, as always, and was guided towards the building willingly.

They had traveled at a stead pace, and Heath had watched her in the corner of his eye. The moment they had begun to ride he had started to wonder what her real purpose was, and if it was not what she had initial said it was. Even if he tried Heath could not take her as a liar, and calmed his small bout of paranoia and rode with ease. The racetrack came to view, the paddocks and herds of untended sheep lingered among the meadows. The horses would be stabled, unless another pack member had come to pasture one of their own. He saw none, taking in the empty status of the fenced areas in as well as the quiet that lingered. He wondered if the cold, or the cloudy day deterred his brethren from fetching their steeds. But the day was still young, with plenty of time for a ride left.

A dark hand ran through his chopped and ragged mane before looked back at the woman that he led into his homelands. He had lost his tongue once again on the trip, the silence settling among them.
“This is it.” he spoke as they rode closer, breaking the silence.

<3 ...dont know if i like this post X|

Keeping pace with another horse and rider was 'old-hat' to the pair. The Friesian stallion needed no cue from his rider on this trip. Rem perfectly matched the pale stallion's pace step for step and always keeping ideal distance apart whilst staying side by side. Every step made with rider in mind. Never to close to trunks or low branches. Though he had abandoned the high headed walk he used in the cavalry line a long with the high stepped gait. No, he was much more relaxed and mellow, his tail still behind and his head low. Not too low though, like his rider he still had his pride.

Anann smiled as she remembered how he had loved to prance. Shaking his head, throwing his mane, swishing his tail behind him. It was no wonder the enemy had thought him truly a demon with rider to match. It had surprised her that he had chosen to leave that life behind. He had loved to fight, more he loved the intimidation before, but so had she. She should have known he would follow her. The two had never been apart for more than a day and to be honest she had prepared for it. Packing feed rations and his blanket just in case. She would have sold them or abandoned them before long but he had acted as predicted.

Anann could smell the stables before she saw them. She hadn't realized how much she had missed that smell. It reminded her of happy times at home. Times in the training yard with Rem and Godfrey. Teasing the stable boys, when she was younger. She was impressed at its size once it came into view. She hadn't expect that they would have such a large facility. Quite the place you've got! Rem too, was excited as his head had come up, ears pointed at the stables ahead. The stallion gave a slight snort of interest but that was all.

There was as certain feeling that Heath gained the moment they had stepped over the invisible line that drew itself along their borders. As any member would Heath worked to maintain it, to protect it and keep those that wished to use their lands for their own benefit. It was simply instinctual, yet he had not found any hardship in allowing his new companion within the home that brought safety and comfort that came to him. He had spent a solid portion of his life without such a feeling, without much of any feeling, and the male found that he was more protective of the things that brought his such an emotion and security. He felt it swell his heart as he got closer to the stables, the sound of the horses inside awakening to greet their returning Marshal.

Anann spoke, and the male turned his head to address her. His mouth curved into a smile, proud of the work his had put into the stables and the horses that lived there. "Thanks." He answered, taking her experience as a rider into consideration and thus taking the compliment to heart. They rode for a moment or two more before the coy-wolf slowed Stark to a halt and dismounted. The stallion needed to rest, needed to eat and he would be happy to do both. Lumiere, his roam mare, could be heard even still standing outside. Her connection with the hybrid made her eager to be near him. "You can have your pick, anything empty is up for grabs." Heath spoke over the sounds. His policy was lenient and flexible, caring little about the organization of things and more about the care placed into it.

Honey colored eyes looked back at the golden hued female, "Did everyone ride, where you are from?" He had wondered it before, knowing that some societies lived and died on the horse.

Anann followed in step of her host. Dismounting as Rem came to a stop a couple yards off from the dark man and his pale stead. A loud greeting echoed from within the barn. It seems you've been missed. A broad smile on her face, she took a deep breath. Taking in the scent of the place. It reminds me of home. Happy times. She had always loved the smell of the stables back home. She had spent much time in the stables and adjacent training yard.

She quickly pulled the packs from Rem's back. Leaving them strapped together she set them next the barn for now. Is there anything on the outside or at least somewhere were he can come and go as he pleases? I'm really just more concerned about getting him fed than a stall. Anann didn't plan on returning to these lands until she sought out the king. It was one thing to be escorted onto the lands, it was something completely different to expect that she would be able to come and go as she pleased, but she home at least Rem would be welcome to do that. With the war, do you really want a lone wolf coming and going as she pleases? If it was my lands, I wouldn't. She spoke plainly, flatly. She knew Heath had no reason to trust her. Yet he had. She had already asked him for more help than she felt she should have so quickly. Rem will want to be with me most the time. He'll need to be free to come and go or I'm afraid I can't cover the cost of the damages should he feel the need to force his way out. She laughed, only half joking.

She thought a moment before answering his last question. Having lived her whole life with Rem, the golden fem couldn't imagine a life with out the companionship of a horse. She thought only on how to best explain it. Not everyone rides, but our..their society is very dependent on horses. Horses play a part in every aspect of our lives. Work, play and even war. A darkness fell over her briefly at the last words. Her eyes and tone grew cold, but just as quickly the dark eyes warmed to their normal earthy glow.

xD they can walk to the Hotel...

He felt as if he had two homes, one among the horses and then one with his mate. Two lives that he loved, souls that he cherished. Their welcome warmed the man’s heart, though part of him wished to scold them for their brash announcement of his arrival. Lumière was the front runner, always the most eager to see him. The scent, the sounds, the sight of it all made him feel as if he had truly returned home. A smile came to his face as she spoke, and laughed lightly at her acknowledgment.

As she did Heath moved to take the packs he had strapped to Stark off the dull hued horse. It was easy, quick work and Heath piled them with the others. The stallion made no notion of even noticing the lack (or the gain, before) of the extra weight. He simply looked out into the open air, content with merely breathing. Her words flowed as they worked, and half way through the male turned to listen. Patiently he allowed her to explain, and nodded his head in agreement. He cleared his throat, idly looking out at the barn and then back to the female and then spoke his collected thoughts. “I’ve got a space in the back, the door can be propped. He’ll can wander how ever he pleases, Ill leave him a meal.” Heath spoke, and then reached down to work with the saddle Stark wore. Then with a fast movement then he usually made around any horse he turned back to the woman.

”But, if you come looking for him, and he isn’t here… Not my fault.” There was a tinge of seriousness to it, but then Heath gave her another smile.

As he worked to free the horse and place him in his stall he listened to her story. She didn’t seem happy about all the aspects of life, war being one of them. Heath would have been happy without it, there was no doubt about that. But he would not pretend that it didn’t exist, just as she recognized it. Toting the saddle to its place, “That doesn’t surprise me too much.” he spoke as she eyes the large dark stallion that stood beside her. Nothing about him spoke of anything other then war horse.

=D

She watched dark hands quickly and nimbly undoing the strapping of the saddle. It was one chore Anann never missed. She was glad she had no need for such things with Rem. Their bond and trust so deep they seemed almost to become one creature, one mind. That should work perfectly. If I'm able to join the pack, I'll pick a stall then. More Rem would do the picking. Anann often wondered which one of them was truly in charge sometimes, but that was probably the way of most partnerships she supposed. As I said, I won't come looking. A coy grin and sassy tone came from her maw.

The golden fem wondered what the horses of the stables were like. She couldn't help but wonder if there were any born fighters. Even while she had run from the battlefield Anann knew she wouldn't be able to abandon her training or Rem's. Heath obviously had a distaste for war. Though everyone should have a distaste for it, but that didn't mean you didn't need to be prepared to defend yourself or your lands. Would he let her train here? The facility were great for it. Too early for such thoughts. It wasn't home yet, but it felt so right...

The dark, mottled coy-wolf was no dummy. He saw Rem for what he was, his eyes said that much. Though it had still remained unspoken. Anann was starting to feel uneasy. Maybe it needed to be spoken, out in the open if only between them. You obviously know what Rem is and from there its not hard to figure out what that makes me... Know he knew some how didn't make it any easier to say. You've earned my respect, otherwise I would not speak of this. The air of confidence around her was faltering. She shifted her weight, trying to recompose herself. Do you really want to share your home with us? I have desire to find the battlefield again, and I won't abandon my training... The golden fem felt a connection with this man. She hoped for friendship between them. Normally and especially with men, Anann tended to be defiant to a fault. Respect the only thing that dulled her sharp tongue.

xD they can walk to the Hotel...

Heath wandered if she'd do as she said, and join their ranks. It wasn't a bad deal, at least Heath thought so. He was unsure if he would have simply left just like the rest of his siblings, if everything had gone a little different. But something had made him join this pack, and Heath saw the woman he loved and the horses he cared for as the chain that kept him planted along this coast. But it was not a shackle that he did not gladly wear, proud in fact to be linked to the canines that lived here. Jac might have been a better friend if he was not mated to the King's charge, but there was no changing what was and Heath would give up the world for the silver female. Different things propelled them to form the bonds and claim the loyalties, he wandered what the breaking point would be for Anann. Heath nodded, "Alright." He spoke with a grin. If she joined then it would be another beast that thought as he did amoung them, and Heath always appreciated more of those.

With his comment Heath could sense their conversation turning serious. Grim in fact. He donned a plain face, looking and watching the horses as if he was busy with his task as she spoke. The stall door clinked shut, and Heath moved to the dark faced mare that lived beside her adoptive pale brother. Lumiere was his favorite, his first to ride and the first to claim him as their own. She had been his light into a world that did not life and breathe by bitterness and bloody knuckles. He touched her nose and then turned to the wolfess, "I knew what you were when I saw the weapons you carried." Heath spoke, his tone low and calm. "I would not bring you here if I did not trust that you were looking for something that I had looked for as well." He was scarred, the lines crossing his chest, his knuckles large from the past's constant beating. He was what a human would call a boxer, lightweight but deadly. "If you think you'll live here, your battles will be in the name of this pack. Every one. Whether you want it or not, the use of your training will have us written all over it. As long as you are prepared to hold that responsibility, I'll share my home with you." everything he did represented each member of the pack, and it was each of their responsibility to give the pack a good name. If he sought vengeance against those that had pained him in the past he would be dragging every beast into the battle.

XD I keep thinking its nighttime for some reason

She had put a dark cloud over the morning now, and was starting to regret she had said anything. She blamed her poor brain to mouth filter on the lack of decent conversation in the past several weeks. She only wanted to make her intentions clear. Better now while the friendship was new. She would rather he dismiss her now for what she was than to accept her for something she was not. She had spoke plainly and to the point. The answer was much the same. I'm glad to see we understand each other. She offered a golden hand to seal the deal. I would fight to protect these lands and those within. Beyond that, the cause had better be a good one. Never again would she play puppet in another man's war. A content smile once again on her face. Let me gather a few things and we can be on our way.

Turning, she went to go and get her packs from outside. Opening several of the bags, she gathered items she wanted to keep with her for the time being. First an empty deerskin rucksack. Opening it she quickly stuffed her bear pelt in it. An old and worn hardback book, one could barely make out the words on the spine.Book of Five Rings. A small collection of various pouches. Most were empty, simply items for trade if she happened upon the chance and the last rations of dried meat. A firesteel and small metal blade for striking it. It took little time for her to collect the items and place them in the small pack. Closing up the others, she quickly placed them with the tack. They would call little attention there.

Anann picked up her pack. Well, guess I'm ready. She had not packed her swords. She didn't need the attention they would bring and she didn't need them to protect herself either. So what is the next stop on our little tour? She asked. As they left the barn, she didn't see Rem. Apparently it would just be her and the coy-wolf from here.

He had his things to fight for, and they were good reasons to take up arms. If another threatened his mate Heath would become something he had never wished to be, a murderer. His father was one, and Heath wished to be as far from the male who had sired him as possible. But for Ruri, Heath would do anything, become anything. This was what she made, a stable peace-loving creature that was new to the concept of love but no longer fearful of it. The two canines did understand one another, and he was glad as well for it. He agreed with what she spoke, and it gave him a sort of smile on his face that not ever beast saw. He took her hand, holding it firmly to seal their new alliance. He had few that he trusted, but the female was entering that small group the first day they met. He nodded, allowing her to get her things together.

He watched the horses as she went to her things, checking their status and how they fared. No one seemed uneasy, though Lumière watched his every step and called when he got too far for her liking. It did not take her too long, and soon enough she called to him. Gold eyes looked to her, ears perked with interest. ”Most stay in the hotel, its not far from here. I guess we could go looking around there. “ he spoke as he began their short walk. It was place he had only been briefly, and would appreciate a second look for himself. “Its not a bad set-up. There is also a castle along the coast, but I have never been.” He said as he pointed in the direction of the old ruins. He mainly stuck to his two destinations, his taste for exploring not as powerful as his liking for consistency and habit.

full of fail, Ive had this half wrote forever ;_;

The honey hued woman felt energized. What had she traveled all they this way for, if not for a moment like this? Her day had started much earlier than she had expected with Heath happening to wonder past her makeshift camp. How different things might have been if not for that chance meeting. She couldn't be any happier with the results. By complete chance she had made a friend, found food for Rem, and a prospect pack. A lot more than she had hoped to accomplish in her first day. Her only goal for the day had been to not make any enemies.

Dark eyes took in the lands around her. Taking in the sights and smells. The hotel sounded interesting, wondering how large it was and how many actually stayed there. The castle really peeked her interest. I've only seen castles in old books. That's worth checking out! Giving Heath a friendly nudge with an elbow as they made their way towards the hotel. She wondered what other surprises laid in wait. A sea-faring king had been odd enough, but now the thrill of a castle too. It almost seemed like a fairy tale of sorts. She fancied the thought for awhile. glad to be rid of heavier thoughts for now.

Anann fiddled with the straps on her pack. Adjusting them so the load sat more balanced on her back. It was odd not having Rem with her. Not so unusual when they had been back home, but since they had left they hadn't been apart. Hearing their foot steps without the soft echo of hooves made the world seem too quiet. Even with the morning chatter of the few brave birds to be this far north already. Is there anything you want to ask me? I feel like I've asked most the questions so far? It was something to fill the quiet on the short walk.

no worries! happy to wait for you!! Big Grin

It was not much a walk, in a scenic sense. Heath found all of the forests familiar as well as the rocky coastlines and hidden meadows in this particular Cour des Miracles region. Though he did not go to the hotel often, the path was well traveled and worn to make it easy for any beast to come and go as they please between the two destinations.

“I have never seen one either, outside of pictures. I tend to stay to my normal hiding places, only leaving the pack lands for supplies from the city and to patrol the borders.” his world was a small one, perhaps his early life of traveling had made him desire the sort of structure that he had created here. To and from the stables and then any other duties he was to perform. He would try to venture off more, to become for familiar with the pack lands that the stables and his cabin were not the only things he considered is home.

They stayed silent for a moment, and then Annan brought forth an interesting question and one that Heath needed to think over. There were many things that he already knew of her, things that he had never known about someone only having just met them. Still, he could easily assume that there was more to her then just those few things. And instead of going with his first instinct to simply say no, Heath did indeed ask, “Did you leave, or did they make you?” Heath did not know what sort of vibe she gave injunction with the topic. He would lean to the side that she simply left, but he was still unsure. It was a good thing to know about another that was standing within his homelands. It said a lot about them, as well as where they came from.

Often to get one to open up to you, it helps to open up yourself. It can lead to some vulnerability, but still a working tactic. Not a tactic Anann used with ill intentions in mind. She simply wanted to get to know this man, and let him know her. There was nothing romantic about it, but she felt a connection with him. He seemed to understand her and her horse. Perhaps more so than she felt comfortable with at first, but there had been no sense in trying to hide what had already been discovered. So she had simply went with it. Thus far it had proved worth the risk.

There was a moment of silence between them and she started to think perhaps he wasn't going to ask her anything at all. It seemed instead he had paused only to think of a question. It was a good question and his asking it said as much about him as her answer could reveal about her. She smiled, pleased once again by Heath's character. Despite her smile, she could feel the anger rising in her as she thought of circumstances of her departure. She did not let the emotion rise to the surface though. I left of my own accord. Though it was not an easy choice. There are those I did not wish to leave behind. She wasn't sure if she was more mad at her father and king for the ultimatum he had given her, or Keese for choosing Tosawi over her. Despite what the two men thought, she had made her decisions with the best of intentions not only for herself, but for her people as well. If she had stayed the fight never would have stopped, they stood a chance of peace now.

A large building loomed ahead. Cloaked within the thick woods, it added an almost ominous presence to the landscape. This is it, I take it? Much like the stables, it was larger than she had expected. It seemed time had not been to brutal on the hotel. How large is the your pack anyways? The building was capable of housing plenty, though she could hardly see too many living in that close of quarters.

Heath had come here with two others, a brother and a sister. The trio had left on their own accord, a mission that their memories had pushed them to complete. The three had traveled most of the way together, until they had gotten close to the region. So many packs meant that they needed to split up and search for the one they all sought. But Heath knew that it was not done, their father still took in life giving breaths, it had been a hard failure for the male to deal with. But, he had come to terms with it, and though he would likely never forgive or forget he had come to learn that life was meant to be much more then revenge. Avoiding and ignoring such a plague on his heart would have to suit him for the time being.

Her story was short, a simple answer to his simple question. The tale had to be one that she was no ready to express, and Heath could not ask her to if she did not feel comfortable. The male was not one to push or pry, one's business was theirs and he felt that Anann owed him nothing and no explanation. "Leaving ones you love it always hard." he agreed, eyes looking out into the landscape, thought roam back to the day he and his brother and sister had left. Heath had not looked back, but he had been young, head strong and foolish.

The hotel could be seen, and Heath nodded and gave a "Yup" in response. The ranks were always changing, and it was hard to tell her a straight answer to the next question. "A dozen, or so." He spoke with a small grin, making it a bit obvious that he was unsure. "I dont live here though, my mate and I have a cabin by the shore." He explained as they reached the door, his light toned hand grasping the handle and opening the large entrance for her.

so lame lol

It seemed the old building had stood the tests of time quite well. There were some broken windows and other fairly minor repairs needed, but nothing that appeared to harm the integrity of the hotel. There were signs that some work had been done to the place though. All in all it seemed well maintained. "The place has a lot of character." She said with interest. She wondered what the inside looked like.

At first she had not noticed the iron fence that surround the building. Looking up at it's many stories instead of the ground. It wasn't until she was nearly open the gate that it crept into her sight. Once through the gate, they walked to the large main doors. She waited for him to pen the doors, it didn't feel right to let herself in. Other called it home, she would not disrespect that by barging in, not while she a visitor to these lands. As he reached for the door he spoke of his own home. A cabin on the shore. "Your home sounds wonderful! Perhaps someday I can see it, and meet this mate of yours.". Her tone was warm and casual. "She's a lucky gal." She gave Heath a wink, her smile spreading. She had meant it, from what she had seen of the man so far he was a good one.

As the door cracked open Anann held her breath in anticipation of what lie on the other side. A childish notion perhaps, but why shouldn't she enjoy the little things. She had traveled hundreds of miles for this little tour. She had a right to enjoy it and talk the ear off her first canine companion in months. Luckily for Heath the golden fem was starting to run out of words to feel the small silence that encroached here and there.

The building didn't lack in character, that was for certain. The place was old as could be and had more detail then Heath had ever seen in another structure. The only building that intrigued him more was the old city library, with the stone lions that sat outside it to guard the doorway. Each time he had come tot he hotel it was at Jac's beckoning, and Heath was always turned off at the sound of the King's voice. The last meeting was of war, filling thing male with worry and a instantly suppressed fear. It was nice just to explore the structure right along side of Anann. He followed her inside, a comment coming that made him smile. "She's the second in command here." Heath explained. Ruri was something different, beautiful in every way and yet blind. Heath was not one to just bring the subject up, it was for Ruri to tell whom ever she wished. Heath did not simply take that liberty away from her.

There was a silence that filled the large room as they entered it. Heath was looking around just as freely as the female. Taking in the dulled weathered colors of the place and the different features he knew so littler about. In the corner of his eye he kept her in sight. Heath trusted the female, but wanted to see her reaction. There was a vivid interest in her eyes, and Heath moved away few steps as he examined the long table that sat at one side of the large lobby. Then, Heath moved to the side, golden eyes looking at an interesting room. It was empty, nothing but what Heath could say was a closet. But there was nothing inside, nothing but a few buttons on the wall. The coy-wolf poked his head inside, the door only opened half way.

Despite her best efforts to assume the best, Anann had expected the inside of the hotel to smell musty like so many of the old buildings that had left behind by the previous civilization. There was no trace of any such scent as she crossed the threshold. The lobby was slightly larger than she expected. So often buildings seemed larger from the inside. Time had taken it's toll on the building outside and in. It was weather and dulled, but majestically so. It had stood the test of time well. So few buildings really survived as well as this one had. At least compared to what Anann was used to back home. Perhaps this region was easier on the old structures.

So perhaps it is you that is the lucky one! Her smile growing broad as she jested with the dark man. In the best of relationships, both individuals should think themselves the lucky one. Walking around the room opposite of him, her eyes roaming the room. Luckily, the large room was fairly empty, letting her legs and eyes roam independently for the most part without the worry of tripping over something.

Her eyes followed her nose. She was first drawn to the strongest scents, bring her to the stairs that obviously seemed to lead to the rooms on the upper levels. It was mingling of scents, obviously a sample of the pack's scent. Heath was cloaked in the scent as well, but the smell of horses and his woman were stronger on him. The most obvious out of the way, her nose was drawn to the scents from the kitchen. She poked her head in the door, taking a quick peek and sniff. There was the faintest hint of healer's herbs and a feminine scent mingling with the smell of past meals and the current stores. The kitchen itself seemed to have anything one might need to prepare a meal.

Pulling her head from the kitchen, Anann shot a glance towards her tour guide. Wanting to make sure she wasn't over stepping her exploring, she caught him in quite the similar situation. What have you got over there? I found the Kitchen! Her tail wagging lightly.

i say we wrap this up. and then have that other thread ^^

In all honesty, it was rare that Heath found another to bond with in such a sort time. His longest friend was certainly Haven, the first canine that Heath met in these lands. But he still could not say that they were as quickly open and close as he felt towards the other horse owner. It was something funny, the two wolves so deeply attached to their horses. Heath knew of others that had them, but he saw the same connection in Anann and Rem that he felt with Lumiere. It was something life altering, and it had certainly changed Heath for the better. The roan mare was not the only reason that Heath was in the pack and not long dead, for Ruri was his main reason, but she had played her part. Heath laughed at her statement and his voice was laden with such humor, "That's certainly the way it is.". There was nothing more true.

As the two explored Heath wondered if she would actually settle here. It was far from the worst place to live, the food plentiful and the company pleasant. But it was different for him, he had a life here and had almost felt like he had before even joining. The relationships that Heath had formed were centered here, and they seemed to always be here. When his siblings had disappeared Heath was left with very few, and those few had settled here.

Anann crept up behind him, speaking of the kitchen and wondering what it was that he had found. The kitchen seemed more thrilling then the small closet like room that he had ventured towards. "I don't know." He said standing inside the small compartment and looking around and at the buttons that lined one of the small walls by the door. "A room, I guess." the morte dre Soul male explained with a shrug in his shoulders. He lifted his gaze up to the female, his wondering written on his face. Standing in the small room, which if he knew a little more about human and their buildings he would know that it as indeed an elevator, he looked with amber eyes.

"So," he began "you think you could live here?"

Hope this is good enough!

Anann stepped into the small room with Heath. The buttons on the wall caught her attention. Reaching out and poking one, she laughed. They put these things everywhere, and I have yet to find one that still does anything. She found these buttons to be a curiosity. It was the same with the frequency with which they could be found. Of coarse, they were fun to push and wonder what they once did. Stepping back out of the small room, Anann looked towards the large front door. "What do you say we get out of here and check out that Castle!" They had pretty much scoped out the common areas already and Anann didn't feel like poking around the rooms. Occupied or not, she just didn't feel right about it.

Anann hoped to make these lands home. In due time. While she had come from a large pack of many, she had always been seen as something different. Something special, seen for what her mother had been and what she was suppose to be. So she had found the life of a rogue in the past few months a nice respite. Even in the harsh weather and she had not been truly alone either. "I'd be proud to call these lands home, but until I meet your king, I cannot say for sure. That day is not today," She said with a sly grin. A couple weeks, a month maybe and she would seek out this king. She wanted time to become comfortable with the area she found herself in first. It was only her first day in this vast territory far from her old home. She was ready to just settle down.

As they left the hotel and headed towards the sea the strange smell of the salt waters tickled her nose. She had not see the ocean before, nor a real castle! She wasn't sure which she was more excited to see.
