ooc- I intensely love this table. I use it too much.

The wintery wind whistled through the waving trees near the manor, where Cassius sat pleasantly on the porch, creaking back and forth in an old rocking chair. He held a newly made gadget-sculpture his hands. This time is was modeled after a lizard thing he saw in a book he read in the mansion's dusty library. It had horns, wings for arms, and a sharp, sharp tail. Cass liked the way it looked, it's ferocity, and so used it as a base in this little toy. He was quite proud of it, and he sat staring it in it's glassy red eyes. It looked as if it would breathe fire at him as it said it would in the book. The creature fascinated the hybrid, and he took the book from the library. He kept it in his room and read it late at night, wowed by the mystical wonders of the scaly creatures in held within.

He placed the statuette on the small table beside him, looking back out at the sky above. It was grey and cloudy, as it had been for the last couple of days. It seemed that the winter wouldn't end. He missed the humid atmosphere of his homeland too. He missed so much, he didn't want to think about it. His flannel flapped quietly as he waited for something interesting to happen, or maybe someone interesting to show up.
