For Sophia. Random start for thread, hooray! 410

When Ehno had an idea come to mind, it stayed within his thoughts until he could take care of it. Lately those ideas had been of little woodworking projects he could take up, something to occupy his time and re-sharpen his skills. The copious amount of travelling between Crimson Dreams and Phoenix Valley through the last few months had left him little time or energy to participate in his hobby, so the little ideas he had in mind lately were a perfect means of practice for him. So the Dreamer Captain had taken to spending plenty of time within his workshop in the manor when not out patrolling the borders during the day. He took up some of the smaller pieces of his wood supply and went to work, leaving the larger boards he had stacked in one corner for a much bigger project some other day.

He had a few plans in mind for how to go about building a few toys. The Marino loved to spoil the children in his life, both his own kids and his nieces and nephews. The little playthings he intended to fashion up would hopefully provide a bit of entertainment for some of the younger children around. The male tinkered away at the bench in his workshop on the ground floor of Haven Manor. His first project was nearly finished, a few little objects sitting neatly in a row upon his workbench. He set down his small chiseling tool after completing the last touches on one of the little figures, and set to work stringing them together with some twine he had brought with him from Halifax. It took him only a moment for him to complete this task, and then he took the little toy and set it on the ground to test it out.

He had carved up a few wooden ducks and set little wheels for their feet so that they could roll around. The first duck was larger than the others—the mama duck—and it led the littler ducks around behind it. The twine wound through them allowed them to stay together, and a small knot before and after each duck allowed them to remain in position. Ehno sat himself down with the toy and grabbed the extra string in front of the mama duck and pulled it forward. The little ducks rolled smoothly after it. It was a simple joy that brought a smile to his face.

OOC: thanks for starting <3

Sophia had be lounging around all day, the journeys from the days before still being worked out of her tiny body. Her endurance was getting fantastic, be even still, once she had been done for the day, her muscles in her arms and legs were pulsating and tired from all of the walking that her mother and her did the previous days before. She yawned as she had sat in the living room of the mansion for a bit. She had been lounging on the couch for a good hour or two, threatening to fall back asleep any second now before she had shaken her head and gotten up from the couch and walked towards the door.

She headed out of the door that was cracked open and she bolted off. She didn't know where she was going, nor what she was doing, but what she did know was that she was going to go on an adventure. she was still tired, but a new day meant that there was supposed to be an adventure. The little rave girl had found herself in front of a building only ten minutes later. Her nose told her that her uncle was in the building, by the smell of the door that she slowly nudged open with her nose. The door hinges creaked as she had moved it, trying to get into the building without being noticed, but she knew that once someone had heard the creaking of the door, they would look over and see who it was.

The first sight she had seen when she came in was her uncle dragging around wooden ducks attached to strings. She cocked her head at the adult as she had barged in all of a sudden and smiled at her uncle. UNCLE EHNO!! she greeted him excitedly. Whhhaaaat are you doinggggg? What is that? the girl asked her uncle, her little tail wagging behind her as she looked at the wooden ducks and poked them with a toe on her front paw.
