It had been about three days if he counted correctly since his welcome into the pack of Aniwaya. And so far he was enjoying it. Though he was constantly going around to get accustom to it all, not moving like his old pack was still something to get used to. So to keep himself busy he'd go out a little distance and train. Of course he did find the stables with the help of Rachel, the mare that seemed to now stare and want to follow him around a lot. Since their first meet he had a strange connection with the horse and felt more like home. He wondered if it was because of the old mare his mother had when he was just a pup. Whatever the reason, he enjoyed the familiarity of it. Now though, he had traveled into the wooden areas to just span out and get a good feel of the pack's territory. He liked to know where he was at all times and the fasts routes back if anything happened. He seems to think logical when he wasn't around anyone but once he saw someone he let his playful side just come on out. Of course, he hated to think about it. He was showing a simple mask to his new pack mates and it was eating away at him. He didn't like that he was so secretive but he wasn't ready to say anything about what happened and how he lost his family.

Walking up to a tree he placed his paw on it, as he was seemingly always in his optime form. He closed his eyes and sighed. He wished he could have known his father more at points in his deep thinking and meditation. He wondered just how much he acted like him. Of course those thoughts died out though the hours. He let out a soft sigh and looked up through the canopy of the trees. It was passed noon and probably a few hours before sunset. His knee was much better after a few days of relaxing and he felt much better. He looked around for a slightly clear area where he could practice some single sparing. Seeing a decent sized area he went over to it and made sure nothing would be in his way of footing such as small branches or twigs. Kicking them out of the way he began to stretch out his body, hearing a defined pop when his arm reached across his chest. Ow...that kinda hurt.. He muttered to himself as he continued his stretching. He made sure to do some extra stretches with his knee that was bothered to make sure he wasn't going to pinch a nerve again. After that he closed his eyes and did a few minutes of deep breathing. He had to have a clear mind to really get some work done. but his memories kept coming to him.

He remembered his master, in a sense, of when he trained him and his sisters as young adults. The old wolf was such a scene with plenty of battle scars and his voice seemed to always gather a crowd. It was him that Faolan learned where to speak in motivating terms before training or even a mock battle. As his hands reach above his head in an attempt to get the memory away from his thoughts he let out a soft chuckle and let them drop. He just couldn't focus today with the constant memories of his past. But this time, at least they were making him smile instead of frown. He could recall so many times when the other students would be paired up against one of his sisters and they would loose against them. He had to admit back then, his sisters as a pair were unbeatable. Opening his eyes back up he looked back at the sky. If they were alive, he would be with them. But now, he knew their souls were with their father. Perhaps they could help him in his life. He sighed and looked back down. How he missed them.
