Cassius' moody rampage continued for a couple days after meeting Rachais. He threw some stuff about in his room (they were only tennis balls and small object that bounced like crazy) and he yelled a lot, probably waking up the whole mansion, but he never seemed to get over his random rage. he had no idea what this was even about, or how it started. He just randomly started feeling angst-like one day and went bonkers. Cass had never been so angry in his life, and it had to have no reason to materialize. This whole fact just angered him more. Now, he sat at the edge of his bed, his hands covering his brown face. He wasn't fully dressed, his flannel missing, but the white t-shirt still protected his chest. His goggles were left off his head at the time, as he had hit his head against the wall during his fit of rage. His eyes were glued shut as he sat trying to contain himself in this state.

Finally, Cassius couldn't take it anymore, and he left, not bothering to take his goggles or flannel, but rather a small knife he used to cut wires. He held it tightly in his hand, as he went outside of his room, the mansion, and even out of Inferni. He went deep into neutral territory, where he hoped he wouldn't be found. He approached a tree, and with no warning, he stabbed the knife into the tree with exceptional force, and pulled it out, staggering back. He stood where he was, purple eyes staring at the hole his knife made in the tree. he calmed down for a second it seemed, but then he threw the knife at the tree, where it amazingly stuck into the bark. Taking a few breaths, Cass pulled the knife from the tree, easier this time. He took a comfortable look at it, and then stuck it back into the tree, not with anger, but with temporary peace. He turned and sat on the scraggly roots below, covering his face again with light ochre palms. "What've I been doin' t'myself?" he whispered softly.

Blood still ran deep in his fur. Staining it certain places for sure, but it was the scent of death that was prominent as the forest blurred into fine green lines from his sped up pace. The hare was agile and aware of the predator that loomed over it, twisting and changing the direction of its flight and avoiding the hungry jaws snapping after its nut coated body. The chase ended abruptly when the small game’s next move was predicted and the decaying sets of teeth found their target. Dark liquid wanted to seep out and to the ground, but the large secui let no time be wasted as he tore off and gulped down large chunks of fur, flesh and innards, watching the small animal’s limbs still twitch, unable to grasp that life was no longer flowing through.

Haku did not want meat – he wanted to harvest souls. It took only a few moments to gulp down the little creature and then he was off again, though moving in a pace designed for long distances. There was no more a home with chains administrating his movements. He was free to do whatever he wanted to whoever he wanted. He had always been, of course, but now it was without taking the risk of having followers turn into enemies. It had not been part of the plot to be overthrown before the two groups of canines had murdered each other, but he could work around it, surely. The woman’s blood ran sweet through his system still, and he wanted her family to know what had happened. His smell would rest thick in her fur for days – they would know that he was still there; waiting.

His inner focus was destroyed when he spotted the figure by the tree he would else wise have run past. Paws shifted and his movement died as his strong limbs found roots and let those well used claws dig smoothly into the green forest floor. Two jagged lines of yellow peered gleefully at the other canine; obviously a coyote by form and scent. The woman had experienced little of the normal procedure strangers received in Haku’s presence, but she had been one of a kind, unlike the male. ”Are you alone?” the dark, raspy voice of the beast wondered loudly, watching shadows stretch towards the young man with greedy claws forged by darkness. Haku understood their hunger too well.

Sitting on the roots of the tree let him relax and think about his own mental situation. He'd rather not be more like the rest of Inferni. It was a little nice he was at least a little more sane than the rest of the coyote population. He was quite a one-of-a-kind guy in his own way. there was nobody else like him, and for that he still felt a little lonely. It was a loneliness that was worth being not crazy, or just having a half-sane mind at all. He ran his hands through his hair, just sitting, thinking.

However, when he heard a soft voice behind him, his heart started beating at a million miles an hour. He didn't know who is was, even when he turned to face the wolf. The chocolate furred wolf was unfamiliar, but Cassius couldn't have possibly known that it was the infamous Haku Soul. He would have been better off knowing. Cass' wide purple eyes looked at the wolf, but not directly into his blue eyes. "Uhmm," he started. "Not anymore, I guess." He wasn't sure about talking to this wolf. His fur was wildly bloodstained, and his presence just felt off. Nevertheless, he remained where he was, noting the knife in the tree out of the corner of his eye. "What's it to y'all? Do I know y'all?"

Ah, the accent was thick and heavy. His lips tensed and slowly withdrew from two sets of stained fangs as the lesser creature spoke. Some seemed to guess his name instantly, while others still had no clue that they were staring death straight into the eye. He watched the male watch him and let his gaze trail when lilac eyes sought out the knife in the tree close by. The chocolate and cream secui tilted his head amusedly. Knives could do a lot of harm if used well, but it would be far from the first individual that had held a knife as Haku reached out to end life. The coyote was alone and that was all that the large, furry monster needed to know. He started off towards the other, keeping his pace steady and slow—a strong contrast to the usual way he approached those who were ready to die.

As the chocolate creature approached, and he still lacked an answer to his question, Cass began to doubt that this male was on his side. He still had no idea who this male was, or what he was about to do, but the feeling Cass had was screaming run away. His body froze in a hidden fear. His eyes still switched from the wolf to the knife in the tree. Closer and closer the male stalked, and the hybrid was running out of options to pick from. Once the wolf was close enough, Cassius would have no option but to succumb to the secui. Finally, Cass decided to pull the knife from the tree. He held the knife so that the point was directed at the wolf. Hopefully, he could learn to fight on the go.

It was entertaining to watch the unease of the other. Weak, lilac gaze floated to and fro Haku and the knife, and it seemed that in the end the younger man’s insecurity succeeded. The beast thought the coyote quite rude as the knife’s sharp nose was directed at him. Despite it all, an ill smirk tugged at the man’s scarred face. The blue eyed devil could vividly feel the madness dancing within his vividly burning orbs. There was darkness in the fierce glow. Approaching still, the man let his shortened tail dance lazily behind him, knowing that the world was his forever. This man’s life was his if he chose, and he could feel the hunger gnawing at his ribs. ”Why so serious?” the dark minded male purred out between slightly parted jaws with a question hanging well within his dark voice’s tones. There was little blame or anger in his voice. Oh no, people did well to believe him to be a monster.

ooc- Speeding things up a bit... Makin it interesting >D

Standing face to face with a monster was certainly not how Cass expected to spend his day. The creamy secui stared him down with maddening electric blue eyes. Cassius couldn't look him in the eyes, for fear he would break down and go mad. It was so crazy, how someone's mere eyes could affect him so much and in ways he couldn't control. The hybrid's own imperial purple eyes stared at the feet of the demonic male. It was then that the secui asked a question, a simple but sinister question. "Why so serious?" Why? If that male had taken a look in the mirror, he'd get his goddamn answer. He looked like a torn up remnant of a demented man. His sadistic demeanor didn't help in any way either. Cass took a deep breath, fighting to maintain his composure.

Keeping the knife pointed at the creamy male and holding tight with his hands, Cass stood his ground. It may have been a fatal mistake, since he was probably the only untrained fighter in Inferni. He also seemed to be the least violent, which wasn't exactly a good thing here either. Against his own will, something in the coyote's mind told him to speak out. "I dunno, why ain't you serious? I doubt y'all looked in the goddamn mirror lately." In retrospect, he probably shouldn't have said anything, but oh well. Looking around him, Cass peeked for a way out, some kind of saftey path out of the dangerous predicament. Taking a look at the male, he paused and then took of running. He hoped to loose the demon somewhere in the trees. He maybe didn't think about how the secui might have the running advantage. Of course.

They never ceased in their attempts to mock him. Shortened tail waved slowly behind the hulking form of the beast. He was not human, and so he did not care to act like one. He was an animal; a creature of the wild, and here the were no mirrors and abandoned, broken dreams. He had faced these cruel metal weapons in the past and feared them little more than the usual set of fangs. The coyote’s weak eyes fled from him, but Haku had no intention of allowing the man to flee. The man made the most foolish choice there could be, and the secui’s body fell into motion with ease, anticipation rippling through his cocoa hued figure. Coyotes were agile by nature, but optime was rarely found to match a secui’s speed. Clawed paws thundered against the soft forest ground in silent pursuit of the fleeing flesh. He hungered. Jaws opened wide as he drew closer, ready to snap and tear after delicious flesh.

As Cass hurdled his body through the trees, his feet carrying him as fast and as far as he could, the creamy monster followed suit, closely and with ease. The hybrid's heart beated wildly in his chest as the sudden increase of adrenaline flowed through his veins. The situation became more and more dangerous with every mistake that he made. And everything he did was a mistake. The purple eyed coy wasn't very athletic or battle savvy, unlike most of the clan members. Why was it him, to be the one chased by a madman today?

Thinking that he could lose the secui in the trees, Cassuis tried to change his direction on a dime, but the plan backfired. He ended up, faceplanting, sliding forward around ten feet, and then landing flat on his frontside. He tried to get up, but the pain from the fall overtook him, even in his hurry to keep moving. He was stalled in the worst possible way.

Oh, and down that little bugger went. The man fell and lost his right to life the moment his body collided with the ground. A few moments after, clawed secui paws fell on top of the man’s back. Haku Soul had taken many lives, and so the process of removing the pulse was not as magnificent as it once had been. The monster knew how to play with his pretty, however. Silvery claws dug mercilessly into the coyote’s back as he balanced on top of the smaller canine—surely squeezing out the air of the other slowly with his solid weight. A rough laughter sounded from the devilish creature, and it was clear that the poor man would not get a swift death at all. No, Haku needed entertainment.

Those sharp claws started to tear and rip through fur and skin. ”Catch a falling star—“ the loner purred madly as he watched blood erupt from the fine lines he was creating. ”—and put it in your—“ he jumped off the other, only to bounce back and crush ”—pocket ..” The madman’s voice fell then and a deep rumble rose to take its place. ”Red really compliments you,” the man observed, amused. Such a lovely scent as well; copper and a quickly approaching death. He had almost forgotten about the knife.

ooc- Added an [M] tag and warning Smile and after this can haku get a shot and break/seriously injure his knife hand (left)?

Cassius' heart paused at the moment he hit the ground. The knife was still clenched in his hand, but he didn't think about using it. All he thought about was how fucked he was after he fell to the floor. After only a small moment, his heart was racing, just waiting for it all to go away. For the whole ordeal to be over with, and so he could move on, dead or not. Maybe the beast went away. Maybe the slim chance that the coy-hybrid actually lost the cream male actually came true, and that he was free to go. Free to run back home and tell of his narrow escape. To Gabe or Kae, to anyone who would listen. Maybe they'd call a manhunt, to exterminate the beast and free the world of the scar that the blue eyed monster left in it.

Oh, but he was not let off. Far from it. A crushing weight was thrown upon him in the form of a secui body, which started ripping and digging. at his backside. His skin tore like the frail fabric of his shirt, his blood pooling out and staining the white with a deep crimson. The chocolate demon didn't bother to stop, as he manically cooed to the tortured Southerner. Once he felt the pressure being lifted, he thought the male was done, only to be crushed by even more weight. His back crumbled as he was riddles with pain, crying out with every strike. His eyes had formed tears and they stayed shut, not to even give his assailant the chance to stare into his "toy".

All the hybrid wished for was death now, at the least. He wanted an end to a suffering that seemed unimaginable until he was the victim himself. His violet eyes were stained with tears of suffering and pain, and he wished over and over again that someone, somewhere, could make this all go away, no matter if it happened or not. It was like his worst nightmare, over and over with every excruciating swing he was dealt. He could hear the madman speak again, telling him his blood made his body look good from the outside. He whimpered, his lungs crushed under the weight of the larger male's compact body. "Wh... why..." was all his weak lungs could get out before he came to the point where he could barely breathe.

He tried to look away, but what he saw was a way out. The knife he kept with him, still gripped within his palm, was his ticket away from the demon. His deep purple eyes finally opened with the hope that he could rescue himself from the torture. With all his might, he pushed himself over, hopefully knocking over the secui and beginning to slash away at the male, desperate to cut the skin that stood over his seared flesh. His face was hot with rage and revenge as he attempted to win the upper hand in the situation. His back and shoulders still burned with pain from the initial attack, but he tried his best to ignore it and focus on cutting the male to pieces.

and fade to black

Everything had to end, but Haku seldom let his victim know absolution until his own desperation surpassed theirs. His admiring gaze lingered by the oozing red lines marring fur and flesh alike. It would never be enough. He could revel in his own beautiful madness until the coppery fragrance and its taste was all there was, but he could not find eternal satisfaction. It always ended and he returned, going back to where he was. He was a force in need of defeat, for he would never stop. Sounds came from the defeated form beneath his hulking secui form and Haku cocked his head, intrigued for a swift moment before he recognized the words. They always asked him why, why did he do this? Why not? The chocolate and cream form of the demon huffed, disgusted by the pathetic form crushed under his weight.

Well, the male was in no hurry. A coyote from Inferni rarely went down without a fight. It would be a lie to claim that he was not disappointed with this male. The cruel loner shifted his weight, deciding he would not allow the male to fall into an eternal sleep once the remaining oxygen still running in his vein was used. Then, something happened. The form under him wrestled away with an explosion of adrenaline and a few remaining strands of energy. The monster withdrew a few steps; intrigued and with amusement burning deep within the cobalt flames. A sharp edged blade sought his flesh, but the demon did not lack agility. He backed away at once, baring his decayed teeth at the sudden change of scene. It was far from the first time someone had lashed out after him with a knife.

Like a snake, the secui struck, going for the knife and the hand that wielded it. He could feel metal against flesh, but his nerves were too damaged to grant him the luxury of pain. With the blade’s sharpened edges cutting his lips and gums, the secui’s head jerked in the opposite direction of the coyote. The man’s hold on the weapon was strong and refused to let go, so the demon’s jaws released the blade immediately after, only to have teeth dig into the male’s hand. As soon as those jagged fangs connected with living tissue, he pulled and jerked again. He was rewarded with a beautiful crack and immediately let go, grinning like the madman he was. Using the opportunity to turn things the way they should be again, he ran straight into the wounded coyote and brought him heavily down to the earth again.

He was torn between rage and amusement. Such a lack of manners—this impolite young man needed to be punished. He grinned, feeling sense abandon him completely. Again the secui’s form hovered above the coyote, but now there was no knife to flash back and forth. He wondered about the amounts of pain rushing through the smaller form. Copper scent continued to dance heavily in the air and revealed the blood loss. The man seemed severely weakened, and perhaps it was best that way. Drops of scarlet trickled down his own muzzle; a fine mixture of both canines’ blood. Eyes lingered on the defeated coyote’s face, only to slowly wander down to the exposed neck and the seducing pulse in the major vein there. The wolf’s jaws gently brushed against the soft fur there, but he could still control his bloodlust. There were other things that he could do. Cruel things that would leave the soul burning bright even after physical wounds had healed.

Haku Soul was not above anything. Moral was something he no longer cared to understand. He lived for himself only. He was destruction; brought tragedy to the mortal creatures of this earth. Death would come to all eventually. He inhaled the scent of Inferni and red, so beautiful. A clan member’s disappearance would no doubt provide more nutrition to Gabriel de le Poer’s rage, but there were other ways still to create much more fury. The man beneath him was defenceless and no doubt expecting death to give him relief. Haku decided that he would not be kind enough to grant him a release from his miseries. Instead, he decided to magnify the coyote's sufferings. He would take pleasure in the merciless domination as well as the carnal deed itself. He was the son of hell dressed in flesh, and so he had the right to take whatever he wanted from the defeated creature. And so he did.
