This is set for yesterday, May 17, at the D'Neville Mansion in Inferni. :3 This is also non-mandatory, of course, but I'd appreciate a few spare hands to help with Snake's new home. ^_^ ♥ (353)

The fire had taken quite a lot from the coyotes, and over the past month the silver-shaded Centurion had contemplated how to replace some of what was lost. Snake had been the one to lose the most, she thought—his car-home in Harrow Road had been completely destroyed, and there was nothing they could do to save the charred wreckage of it. Recently, though, the hybrid had been alerted to the existence of a few cars in the D'Neville mansion, and she saw no reason these would not fit for Snake's new house. However, there was no fantasy in the hybrid's mind of turning the key and hearing an engine roar to life—no doubt twenty years of sitting had rusted the engines and rotted the tires. She would need the help of several strong Luperci to move it up and away from the mansion.

The hybrid knew this was a task, of course—there was not a doubt in her mind it would be an exhausting one. But she had already worked it out how she would defend it to her fellow Infernians. Snake had done well in service to the clan, advancing through the warrior's tier all the way to Hydra—he had been impeccable in his service to the clan in her mind, and he deserved better. He deserved something as close to his old home as possible, and as he'd chosen a spot rather distant from the rest of the clan, the coyote hoped to mimic this by dragging the car to the base of Halcyon Mountain. He could mimic the prior distance from the clan, then—with the car tucked away in the mountain somewhere, the silvery hybrid hoped that the car would provide just the right enviornment for the loyal Hydra.

She lingered outside of the garage, lifting her voice in a soft howl to those around the mansion—her call did not demand all of Inferni, of course. With the war, they had plenty of those, and the silver-shaded hybrid did not wish for the rest of the coyotes to grow tired of the Legatus's call.

300+

Since departing from Kaena's company earlier that morning, Jezebel had wandered the Forest of Nod for an hour or so before heading towards the D'Neville mansion. Her first thought was to return to the caves to rebuild her humble abode, but the draw of the rustic mansion was too much for her. It also offered the slight woman the opportunity to give her and Gabriel some distance in the likely event that their reunion turned sour. She'd picked a room in the east wing, away from the rest of the clan that also made their home in the old building, but close enough to hear them shuffling across the wooden floors. The comfort of being so close to her fellows gave a great deal of appeal to her decision, even if she didn't know them yet.

Jezebel was just getting settled in when the familiar voice of the Centurion called out from the other side of the mansion, summoning any willing members to assist her with something. Her ears perked at the sound, and she glanced out the window, before pushing herself up from the bed. She ran a free hand through her hair, shaking out the waves of obsidian tresses to rid them of their disheveled appearance, before walking to the door. The hallway was quiet, and the mansion itself was almost lifeless. It was to be expected, as the coyotes of Inferni were hard working, rather than hardly working.

Passing under the threshold, and out onto the front lawn, following the concrete path around to the garage, where Kaena was standing. The silver shaded woman seemed to have something important in mind, but from the tone of her howl, it was certainly not vital. Just another day in the life of the familial Inferni.

Jezebel offered an amiable smile to the older woman while curiosity flashed across her ruby gaze. "We meet again." She remarked with a gentle laugh. But she didn't bother questioning the woman just yet, as it was apparent that there was a job to do. It would surely be explained once more helping hands arrived.

OOC: Sie said I could!!

Perking his ears up he heard a cry, for help, normally he wasn’t up to helping other’s especially those he didn’t know and the only ones he knew were his sister and grandmother, who was the one that made the call. He would help her in any case. He moved towards the direction her voice had made. She soon found himself near a large house and moving his paws over concrete, aged and taken over by grass and weather. He moved over to the garage where he saw Kaena and another waiting. He hadn’t met her yet, and it was plain that he didn’t care either. His entire attention was on his grandmother. He smiled, that coyote smile he’d inherited from his father. Wasn’t one for speaking, but he was rather curious as to what he was actually doing near a human dwelling. He knew better, and he was sure his own blood did too, maybe there was something of value they needed. Well whatever it was he was sure he could give her a hand.

He sat down crosslegged, his too large ears waiting for his grandmother to speak, he wasn’t impatient, he could probably wait all day, but he was rather curious as to why she called, especially from all the way over here.

Word Count :: 480 NO ONE ELSE IS COMING F U GUYS |: But I have permission to NPC Marik with Maschine. Big Grin SO LET'S DO THIS. Also I forget really how Marik spoke. D;

The coyote woman did not spend much time about the mansion—she was not one for its many wings and empty rooms, and the faint but still detectable scent of humanity trapped within some of the deeper reaches of the sprawling house. The scarred woman had to journey to this part of the clan's territory now, however, as necessity dictated it—where else would she find a car? The coyote was anxious as she awaited the clan's arrival, hoping a few of them would show up for this helpful deed—she figured Snake wasn't too close with too much of the clan, but even without close friendships formed, he provided a certain service to Inferni, that was certainly true.

The first to show up was Jezebel—Kaena smiled at this, as they had already encountered one another earlier today along the clan's borders. “Good. We need a lot of hands, and I know yours are capable,” the hybrid said. Though she did not expect a terrible lot in the way of physical strength from Jezebel, the hybrid woman knew she was a perceptive canine, and if they encountered problems, the bi-colored woman would be handy to have around. Enkiel was the next to make his appearance, and the scarred woman smiled at him, nodding toward the younger canine. “Enkiel,” she said, happy to have her grandson for any event. “This is Jezebel,” she said, introducing the pair of canines to one another. The sound of hoofbeats drew the coyote woman's attention, and she breathed a sigh of relief—Maschine would make this job worlds easier, and the appearance of the horse at a canine call indicated he had a rider. It was none other than Marik, who smiled at the trio of canines and slowed the horse, jumping to the ground nimbly. “Hello, Kaena. I'm Marik,” the man said, introducing himself to the other canines. Kae smiled at him and waited for the others' introductions to pass, and then stood up to call the other canines' attention.

“I'm glad we have the horse today. We're going to have to move a car,” the coyote woman said, smiling almost nervously at her proposal, as if she expected the others to dismiss it with a laugh. “Snake lost his house in the fire, and it's about time he got something back in return. But I think we ought to move it out and away from everyone else for him.” She didn't know if any of these three were familiar with their Hydra—he wasn't the most social of canines, and Kaena thought the spot on the base of Halcyon mountain, close to the borders and away from everyone else, would be rather perfect for him. It wasn't terribly far from the mansion, and the ground was relatively flat—they didn't have many hills to worry about on this side of the waste.

Table thanks to Ithen!
