Anann

She could feel them move, light paw steps against her abdomen as she slept and when she shifted quickly. It was not unexpected, she knew that they presence would become more and more apparent as time went on but it had certainly surprised her when she first felt the swift kick of those inside. It told her that they were healthy. She wondered if they were in distress if she would feel it, if it would be apparent to her that something was wrong. Such questions normally were asked to Savina, and as the second in command walked lightly along the border of Rabbit Lake she gathered the few others that came to her. The silver and tan wolfess would simply need to find her good friend, but once her walk was complete.

It was nice to wander, even if it was only to the western point of the large lake. The Sun gave her a pale light and courage to venture out. The wolfess had been locked away inside the large mansion, fear and worry that she would miscarry lingering in her heart and keeping her in bed. But she had grown in confidence and her wandering heart did not enjoy being so stationary.

Tall grasses tickled her nose, a sea of the green waves lingered close to the edge of the lake, large trees towering over head and shaded the waters. She did not dare get too close; her footing was never to be unsure in the chance that she might fall. Her light form traced around the edge and then into the shaded forest that surrounded her home. The borders were close, and Anu wandered towards it her mind drifting away into the unknown future, as it always seemed to do. She did not notice the large beast that stood in the thick grass and beyond the large trees to her right, and his dark gaze caught sight of her before the blue eyed woman could notice him.

With a startling call the aggressive hoofed animal charged towards her path, and the female looked on with a wide gaze. Her tail hung low, and she was too frightened to run from the angry prey beast that confronted her before she had the chance to send it into a chase (as if the woman ever would). Her ears lay pinned on her head, fear rising in her so quickly at her legs began to shake. Its speed slowed, as if testing her reaction but all the fey could do was watch.

sorry this is kinda fail ; ;

A light click of her tongue sent the large stallion charging up a hill. As he crested the he did not slow, charging down the other side. Anann grinned with delight, laughing like a young child as the wind flew by. Loving the sensation she thought must be akin to that of flight. At least as close as she could come to it. As they reached the bottom, Rem slowed to a trot, tossing is head and mane about. Anann patted his neck with a broad grin still in place on her maw. This day was just for the two of them. It had been awhile since they had gone for a ride just to fool around. Anann had been busy with the preparation of her home and taking care of the stables. Rem too had been distracted. Having found a lady friend in the stables he had been content to spend most days left in his stall next to her. It seemed Anann too had found someone of interested since they had settled into the pack lands. "What do you think of 'Toliy, Rem?" She ask the horse, a silly grin on her face as she thought of the tall man. The horse swiveled an ear back, listening to the question. Giving a knicker that vibrated through the woman, causing her to laugh some more. "Really now?" He responded this time with a toss of the head. She was glad they were both finding this place to be the home that had been looking for.

By now the dew had dried, long swaying blade of green having lost the luster the fine drops gave them. The path they cut through the grass could be seen winding behind them. Wandered aimlessly, Anann wasn't really aware how far from the Miracles lands she had traveled nor how near she had come now to the Crimson Dreams pack lands. She stared out over the lake the sat on their borders as the horse cruised casually down the side of one of the many rolling hills. Anann's audits pressed forward. Something seemed amiss. There was a certain feel to the air. Perhaps she would akin it to electricity if she had known of it. She pressed the horse forward, he too sensing it. Soundly there was a crashing sound. Ears and eyes instantly drawn to the location. Instinctively the pair charged into the heat of the action. Heading straight for the charging bull, its head down as it plowed across the ground. Anann only saw the wolf frozen in his path. Not having time to recognize who it was. Her current form was useless. Closing her eyes Anann focused only on the changing of her form and keeping her balance. Once the change was complete she leaped from the back of the charging horse. She landed hard rolling before making back to her feet without missing a beat. "MOVE!" She roared as she charged from behind the frightened fem. Growling and snarling she headed straight into the face of the bull, hoping to break his charge.

fail? ... shut up! ;D

Her blue eyes stared with fright and shock. She was not one that reacted well to an instant chaos, and her reflexes were not a quick and nimble as they once had been. Her body was not just older then ever before, but her rounded abdomen made her weary of moving quickly and even as she felt the stomach twisting pull of panic she thought of those the resided inside the rounded belly. Anu could not run, and so she stood her ground. Instinct kicked in, and felt a new fiery protectiveness that washed over her and produced a deep and highly audible growl. The fur along her back rose, and the small wolfess’ form grew to a puffed out version on her normal self. What was about to happen was an uncertainty, and how she would stop the beast was trampling her was unknown. But the sound of his marching, displays of strength heard in his voice and written upon his posture told Anu that she should take the steps backwards that might save her life.

Then, a voice like her own trumpeted through the air. A golden form followed it, crashing through the undergrowth and towards the bull moose. Anu stepped to the side quickly, taking covered behind a large alder. Blue eyes closed shut at the impact her paws made stmbling against the forest’s floor, her breathing hastened and ragged. She looked at the ground, hoping to find that she had landed on her legs and not on her side. Finding that she was still upright the Dreamer turned her head quickly, looking beyond the guarding tree’s trunk and pressing her chest against it’s rough bark to get a better view of the canine that had come her to aid. Peering into the green hued distance she found the large prey beast moving back, turning on it’s heels and marching away with his head low.

It was impossible to tell what had actually broken the charge of the bull. The snarling amber wolf or the large black stallion thundering after her. Rem was not about to let Anann have any fun without him. Even once the Moose had made a turnabout Anann followed, snapping her jaws behind him. She intended to make sure his retreat was a full one. After a few bounds she stopped. Her hackles were up and gave the beast one last threatening snarl, though there was already substantial distance between the the wolves and Moose. Satisfied Anann shook her head and shoulders, the stiff guard hairs laying back down.

Disaster had been averted and now it was a time to half a laugh about it. She looked up at the horse next to her. Both their sides heaved with the effort and Anann grinned at him her tongue rolling from her mouth. There was nothing to be said between the two and she simply gave a light laugh. Mostly from the high of adrenaline that was flowing through her veins. It wasn't every day she dove off her horse at run. Rem simply gave Anann a sort of nod and trotted to the edge of the lake for a drink. The amber hued woman turned, looking for the gray fem that had been the target of the charging beast.

Spotting her behind a trunk, Anann trotted over her tail a waving flag behind her. "Are you alright ma'am?" She asked. Anann cocked her head. She recognized this woman. What was her name? Anann was usually good with names, but it had been months ago and they had met for just a brief moment. She did however remember the woman's rank, and dipped her head and gaze for a moment. A small act of respect for the woman. "I'm sorry, I can't seem to remember your name. I'm Anann."

Big Grin

Anu was so focused on the golden wolf that she did not notice the jet-black horse that propelled itself after the pair until it passed her and crashed through the forest. Her heart jumped into her throat, and she felt her legs begin to tremor slightly once again. Eyes closed, unsure if it would be turning back towards her and try to trample her just like the moose wished to. But the hoofed beats feel away into the distance, and she opened her eyes again to see that they had all disappeared. She took a deep breath, focusing on her abdomen and trying to find the pang of pain that would make her think the litter might not be okay.

Everything seemed to be feeling correct, and she sat to steady her shaking legs. But she was not alone long, the stranger and her hero trotting back towards her. Her posture spoke of the valor and her successful accomplishment. The Dreamer was shaken, and at the question Anu needed to a moment before she could gather her voice to answer. I think so. She pushed herself to keep her tone together and even. A weak smile was given after the words, trying to show that she was actually okay. She spoke once again, and Anu looked up at the female feeling the need to recognize her.

It took a moment, but the Lt. General did find that she recognized her and began to remember the moment they met. Anu She spoke, her body less stressed and recovering from the startle. That was right, the horse, her fall, Cambria. Our Cambria helped you. She spoke, perhaps jugging the other’s memory. Her breath was still coming quickly even if the adrenaline was leaving her system. She needed to lay down, she felt her stomach twist, worry washing over her. She simply lowered her enlarged form towards the ground.

fail post fails

Understandably the woman seemed a little shaken. The scent of fear overpowering the scent that told of the life she carried within and so far Anann had failed to notice the rounded belly of the woman. Her words and smile seemingly forced through the nerves that were rattled. Everything is fine, I doubt he will be coming back anytime soon. She attempted to reassure the woman. Glancing briefly to see where Rem had gone. He grazed lazily under a the shade of a tree, caring little for the conversation of the two wolves.

For a breif moment it appeared the woman had not at first recognized Anann from their brief meeting before. Recognition dawning on her features slight after. It was understandable as she had meet the woman in another form, her current Secui form was darker colored than her golden Optime and even paler lupus. I shall not forget it this time, She said with a soft smile. The poor dear certainly seemed to rather shaken after the whole event. That's right, it healed beautifully, without a mark. Getting the stitched out of the back of her own head had been rather interesting. She was glad no one had come across her during that rather awkward ordeal.

A worried look washed over Anu's features. In turn putting quite the worry into Anann. Ma'am are you sure you are alright? As she settled to the ground Anann finally noticed the bulk to her middle. I didn't realize you were expecting. Is everything- are you sure you're okay? Anann certainly felt out of her element and hardly the rescuer she had just been. This was out of her realm. Pregnancy frankly scared the woman to death. Believing that well, it would be the death of her. Do I need to call for someone?

The grass below her was cool, even still damp from the morning dew and the tree's shade. It was refreshing against her chest, and cut through the heated fright that she had succumbed to. The female took a few deep breaths through her nose, her heart's beat eased with each slow exhale righting the nervous feeling that she was hoping so desperately to shake. The other woman spoke, her words only being half heard. But Anu could remember the past meeting better then she could focus on this one, and the vision of her stitches and of Cambria were vivid in her mind's eye.

When the question came Anu was able to honestly say, I think I will be It was hard to say what would happen, but she felt them move and that was all that mattered. Could it be a figment of her imagination? Anu was not the most educated wolf in the ways of pregnancy, and so she kept her worry to herself. Then blue eyes looked up at Anann, and she gave a small trying smile. No, no. She just needed a mere moment, just to gather the wind that had been sort of knocked out of her by the fear and the quick sort of jump.

I believe everything is fine, Anu focused once more, her eyes looking away and her abdomen feeling alive with their soft settling movements. Then a smile came to her face lightly, honest, They are strong She commented, the joy of her situation evident on her face. Her legs were still weak and there was a sudden tiredness that swept over her, it was too easy for the wolfess to become fatigued, and so she remained on the ground. Thank you, by the way, for risking your life. Anu had known the Cours wolfs to be nothing but brave, honorable and most importantly to the woman, honest.

She had dealt with pregnancy on a very small level. She was far more knowledgeable about the pregnancy of her hooved companions that she was that of her own species. Anann found herself more often in the company of the opposite sex and so she had seldom found herself in the company of a pregnant wolf. She had no idea if the stress of the situation could be enough to bring harm to the life growing inside the Dreamer. The worry that crossed the face of the silvery woman faded, Anann relaxed. She lowered her large secui body to the ground. Giving a soft smile, Anann was glad that everything seemed to be alright as she calmed down.

Anu seemed more confident that everything was alright after all. The joy she held for the life within her beginning to glow through the fear and worry that had lined her face before. Good, I'm glad everything is well. Anann's concern for the other woman turning more to curiosity now. Wondering what it must be like. The dream woman now more relaxed seemed to glow, radiating the joy of her situation. Though if not a bit tired. What its like? Her eyes looking to rounded belly of the fem.

Anann had put herself at some risk with her rescue, but she did not feel that she had risked her life. She had been certain that the moose would break its charge. There was always plan b if it had not, though she wasn't entirely sure what plan b would have been. You're welcome, but it really wasn't that big of a deal. There had been no other option for her anyway, it wasn't like she could have just sat there and watched the wolfess be mowed down by the rampaging beast. I hope you will forgive my trespassing, Anann joked, her tongue lulling partially out of her mouth as she grinned.

quick reply! My apologies

Anu had been there when Savina was pregnant, twice. It had been something she had loved helping her friend through, and Anu watched as the black wolfess grew with a belly full of pups and as the Commander brought new life into the world. But watching it happen (the entire process) and experiencing it were two different things. She worried about things that she had never even once thought about, things that had never made sense to her before and now seemed to have more meaning then her Sun’s love for the Earth. Her worries were great, but they could be quelled by her happiness and her excitement. The calm nature that Anu had lost during her times with Colibri and the other female’s transition into the pack was back even if she had more to loose now. She felt as if they, the unborn, had returned it to her. And even now, as the adrenaline left her blood stream, Anu regained that placid nature that controlled her.

A smile was given, and at the other’s question Anu had to pause to find the answer to it. Well, she began, her brow tightening slightly in thought, this is my first litter. So Its hard to say what is normal and not. She laughed lightly at the end of the sentence and then continued, But, its like feeling very hungry, and very full all at once. And a nap always seems like the best option. She was light hearted and couldn’t help the smile that she wore.

To the Dreamer, that was risking one’s life. Anann had helped to save her from death by trampling and in the gray and tan female’s mind she could not think of a worst way to go. At her claim that it wasn’t a big deal Anu made a small face, I wouldn’t have been able to do that She looked at the female who had lowered herself to the ground as well, Forgive? She questioned, and then rebutted quickly I appreciate it. Wolves of Cour des Miracles are always welcome here.

The adrenaline that had flooded her system had passed. It would be a stretch to call her an adrenaline junky, but she still enjoyed the natural high it had given her. For the golden fem there had been little that was frightening in what had transpired. Her only concern had been for the lt. General and her unborn litter. The rest had been a thrill ride. Had it not been for her concern for the lt. General she would probably still be amped up. Bounding around the stallion and having a laugh about the look on the bulls face as he turned tail and ran. Three years old and she still acted like a yearling at times. A side effect of having had to develop a more serious side early on.

The realization of the Dreamer's condition had been sobering for Anann. Though she had quickly pushed the darker thoughts from her mind. While Anann was in no hurry to find herself with a belly full of pups Anu was a glow with the happiness and contentment it brought her. Her first litter though? Now Anann was seriously confused. But Haven and Mati? Her head tilted slightly, brow furrowing in confusion as her brain tried to figure out what she was missing here. Just days ago Mati had told her that Anu was her mother. Her description of the sensation of a belly full of pups made her smile. Someday perhaps she would know for herself but that wasn't something she was ready for yet.

Once Anann had settled in to the Cour lands she had not wandered far their borders. She had a thirst for knowledge sure but she was not the exploring type. It was more important to her that she had gotten settled into her new home and pack. So the last several months had focused on that the greatly more toward the settling in bit. As there were still plenty she had yet to meet. Still it was nice to know she was welcome on the Dreamer's lands as well. Thank you. I'm glad to know our packs are on such good terms. She liked the area it was quite beautiful. Not that her own pack land weren't. Looking out over the lake the still waters were something much more familiar to the amber wolf. It is beautiful here. The harsh ocean that beat at their shores was beautiful but not the calm serenity of the lake.

Anu did not separate herself from the adoptive children that had been raised durring Naniko’s and she’s mateship. They were her’s and the youths had always known her to be their mother. She was close to Mati and Haven especially, yet they all had called her mom. But she knew the difference and had felt it many times throughout her relationships with those four pups. She could feel it now, the connection that she would forever have with the ones inside that she lacked with those that had already grown. Her question was not something Anu had expected, for she didn’t know that Anann had met both Mati and Haven. Her smile was softer, her eyes still bright but she was more reflective at the thought of the two. The brother and sister were so close; Anu had always found it saddening that they lived in different packs. But still, she wondered if the distance made their relationship stronger. They were birthed by my mate at the time, Naniko. Anu felt numb towards the white wolfess, though the knowledge that all her past loves had brought heartache was still an open wound. She lives in Phoenix Valley now, at least that is that last I have heard.

The Lt. General hoped to never been on bad terms with that pack that Haven resided in. She was certain that if there was a conflict the Knight would move swiftly to right it, but Anu understood that her son would not follow those that wished to make trouble and so the risk that such a thing would come about where low. I am glad to be the one to bring you such news. Anu loved her home, the sprawling meadows and old forests making a perfect balance. She would forever be content to live in the shadows of such trees as the one that they lay beneath. They were guardians, even if many wished to ignore them. Have you been in the area long? Anu asked, blue eyes watching the females sun tinted face. Most ventured to their borders at some point, and Anu would be surprised to hear that Anann had been in Cours for very long. She seemed like the more wild type, but that was what she gathered from the death-defying display of her bravery. Wouldn't see wish to see the sights?

Perhaps it should have been obvious that Anu was indeed their mother, just not one of blood. It was an easy enough thing for her to understand. She saw Rem as a father of sorts and he was not even the same species. Blood mattered so little when it came to matters of the heart. However, the idea of a same gender mateship had not entered her mind. I see, was just a bit confused when you said it was your first litter when Mati had said you were her mother. I hope I didn't offend you. The other woman's smile had faded only slightly. Unsure if it was her own doing or not.

Anann kept herself within the Miracles borders most of the time. Or at least close to them. She still felt like quite a stranger to the area. There was much she had yet to explore even within her own pack lands. So she had little knowledge at all of the other packs and the relations between them all. Phoenix Vally, now that's the pack north of the city? She was still trying to get everything oriented in her mind. There had once been a time in her life she never though she could live knowing so little about what surrounded her. All in due time.

She supposed her lack of knowledge was acceptable though for no longer than she had been in the area. Once her home was built and she was settled in she would turn her attention towards expanding what she knew about these lands she now called home. It been about four moons now. I had only been in the lands a few days when I met your Cambria. It was almost laughable now thinking of how a tumble down an incline had left her needing stitches, especially after she had just played chicken with a charging moose.

Big Grin

The female did not expect everyone to understand how she was bonded to the four pups that she called her own. It was not something that was common, and Anu would not push another in to feeling that it was normal. The female would not appreciate negativity towards her way of life, but Anann’s words were completely respectful and the Dreamer smiled sweetly at the other female.

No harm done, She remarked with a soft tone. Anu could not scold her for things she simply did not know. it isn’t exactly the least complicated of situations. Anu had always known that it was confusing, and that was before she was pregnant. Now, she wondered how the others would feel, especially Mati and Haven. They had always been her favorites, and though they were grown and no longer needed her she still felt that they were her children and their feelings would always be in her thoughts.

Anu nodded, It is. She had lived there once, before moving to the Crimson lands to be with Naniko. It was ironic that the white wolfess then left to live in the valley months later. Anu could not help but hold bitter feelings towards the area, but such a thing was never acknowledged

She could smile lightly at the golden wolfess’ words, her thoughts moving from the darker bits of her lover’s past and towards something a bit more playful. Her body was feeling more relaxed and her energy began to return. Not the nicest welcome to the area. Anu teased. Her eyes were lighter, her demeanor growing brighter as well. She lighted lightly, and felt the small kick of one that lived inside. Anu flinched, her eyes closing for a prolonged blink. Shaking it off slightly the Dreamer’s smile returned. I swear they’re trying to meet the world before they’re ready, kicking away.” She looked back up at the female, her thoughts not able to drift from the brood that were cooking in her belly. Have you ever thought of having puppies? The question was innocent, and Anu knew she was still young and have plenty of time.

Uhg, really sorry for the wait on this one ; ; I had it mostly wrote up one night...til my hubby restarted the computer. I miss my own computer =c

It was easy for Anann to understand family ties created by the heart rather than the blood flowing through the veins. There were few blood relatives that the golden woman was familiar with and most of those were dead. She knew little of what had become of her sisters or if they even still lived, though there was no reason to think they did not. I've always believed that love is thicker than blood Looking over to the stallion still grazing in the shade. You may think it crazy, but he has always been like a father to me. Anu had thought her own situation hard to understand, but Anann was often reluctant to tell many how deeply she was bonded to the horse.

She hadn't been too worried that she might have upset the Dreamer fem with her question concerning her elder children. Never the less, Anann minded her manners as she was unable to ignore the fact that she was a pack leader. Of the vary grounds she was on no less. She was hardly submissive in posture but she would not go as far as to be disrespectful. Anann simply nodded as Anu confirmed the location of the other pack for her. She really needed to get out of her own lands a little more often. Perhaps once she was more suitably settled in.

Her little run in with Cambria was almost embarrassing for her. Luckily Anann had learned to laugh at herself, even if she was unable to do so right away. I am no stranger to stitches, but I rarely come by them with so little ease. She laughed lightly. She was certainly covered with small scars, hidden under her hefty pelt. Though most came from blade and fang. not a simple tumble. Anann tilted her head slightly as the pregnant woman flinched, eyes shut tight for but a moment. Reassurance that she was indeed alright quickly following. Causing the amber hued woman to laugh. They are strong. She said with a broad smile, nodding towards Anu's rounded belly. How much longer now til they are ready to see the world? The gray fem was heavy with pups, but as she had said, they were not quite ready for the world.

The Lt. General's question caught the Miracles' fem off guard. She did her best to had her own fears. There was no need to add her own worries to any the other woman might have. I have given it some thought, but I do not yet yearn for the day. It was honest enough. As it were she had no desire for children yet. Being told as she had grown up that such desires would never be fulfilled anyway. She might bare children one day, but believed she would never be given the opportunity to know them.

oh, i hope it gets fixed/resolved soon! <3

Anu had left her blood relatives long ago, those wolves would always be her family but they were from another lifetime. The female had no qualms with those of her past, her parents had been loving. Loving in a way she hoped she could be to those that she would soon give birth to. Blue eyes followed Anann as the golden wolfess looked towards the large horse, finding nothing odd with the idea at all. The elder fey was generally open-minded, who was she to judge? Anu found herself close to many different things, trees especially. Everyone wished to come close to another, why did the species matter? Not at all, friends are found in many different creatures. Spoke the female that found comfort in the presence of ancient trees.

Injuries were something Anu had been able to avoid, her scars were old and many small and unseen. The longest was the line down her leg, but very few knew that it even existed and she didn’t think a single soul knew the story behind it. No one but the male that had given it to her. Anann’s words brought laughter and a wide smile to Anu as well. Thankfully Cambria had been near by, for the Cours female would likely never have a problem with the cut after the Dreaming Practitioner had treated her. Anu found only pride when she thought of Cambi.

Her words were sweet, encouraging and Anu answered with a wondering tone. I feel that I am over half way there, a few more weeks. She guessed. It was hard to keep the days straight, and she did not notch then off or even count. The days floated by, and Anu cared little about them waving away. Her concerns were narrowed down to the moment, the second. It was how they were this very instance, the day as a whole seemed to be a blur of those moments strung together.

The answer was interesting and peaked the Dreamers curiosity. She wondered if she could question further, and let the words Anann had spoke to mill in her mind for a passing extended second. “I never did either, Anu admitted, finding that it was just as interesting now that Anu felt the same. not until recently. This was all a surprise. Anu hadn’t admitted her relationship with Gabe to many, but she was simply being honest and yet still keeping that truth to herself. Your young with plenty of time. The last words came with a soft smile on her gray and white snout.

we can end here or go on for a few more idc <3 if we go on maybe they could walk through the orchard??? (has no clue about cd layout)

The tawny woman's statement regard Anann's relationship with the horse only made the amber hued wolfs respect for the other grow. Glad to see the pack leader had an open mind. Its good to know you feel that way. So often you see canines getting caught up on the differences of breed. Wolf, coyote, dog and of coarse hybrids. If you ask me the type and purity of the blood has little effect on the soul. Her home land was full of such disputes. Where anything but the pure blooded wolves were second class. Or worse.

Having been raised for service on the battlefield it was difficult for Anann to see herself as a mother. If lore was truth than she wouldn't ever be a mother anyway except for maybe the last moments in life. Still she did her best to keep the sour thoughts from expressing themselves. She knew fear could easily become contagious and there was no need in risking Anann's own fears of pregnancy to affect the lt. General. Certainly no reason to rush and its not as if I can create new life all on my own anyway. Not that Anu would know anything about the lack of a male in her life. While one had caught her eye they were hardly at the baby making point in their relationship. A relationship that's existence was questionable at best.

While she tried her best to not let it affect her, the conversation of pups was becoming unnerving for Anann. Perhaps one of the few topics capable of such a thing as it was one of her few fears. Her body too was not used to much idle time and her limbs itched to move. Well, I'm glad I could come to your assistance but I think I should be on my way now. Unless you'd like me to walk you home. The moose had not returned but if the fem would like company on her journey back home Anann would be more than happy to.

the orchards are super close ;D few more? then we can close it up. :3

Yes, Anu believed very powerfully that it was not the lineage that made one a moral beast or not. And to her, that was all that truly mattered. To be honest, pure of heart, good-willed, those were the things that she cared about. If one was coyote or a wolf or a dog or not meant so little. Those that lived inside her were of mixed species, and were she to love them less since they were not pure wolf? Nothing so miniscule would ever deter her from getting to know another, or from loving them. Anann’s words were saddening in part, as well as encouraging. Since there was no much truth to it; Anu did not enjoy the fact that wars were waged in the same of the wolf and the purity of the bloodline. But she was eased to know that Anann felt the same as she did, I agree. Its disheartening to know that there are some that will kill because of it. It was more then just disheartening, but the female refused to feel such hate or anger while she carried her young, such a thing could be felt by even those that had been unborn.

But of course the Cours female had plenty of time and she shouldn’t be in a rush. Despite the thoughts of most, life tended to be long. Time could speed or drift by and still life was lived day to day, year to year. And at times second to second. She needed to be careful, spend her time wisely in the seconds that rushed by but she needed to be even wiser about those that she spent that time with. Anu had wasted time, she knew that now. Wasted time being unhappy and too many hours with tears in her eyes. Life was too long to spend it with those that only planned to hurt you, too long to be spent unhappy. She hoped that Anann would spend her time finding the one that would make her happy, without question. The Dreamer laughed lightly as she commented, Oh no, you certainly can’t

Never had Anu looked to make the other female uncomfortable, her dreamy thoughts of puppies were sometimes uncontrolled and her words spouted with out taking in the consideration of the comfort of those she told them to. The pregnant wolfess rose as Anann spoke, or course, she had kept her savior long enough from the duties of her pack. Her legs stretched as Anu rose to her paws, leaning to one side and then the other as she found the balance of her rounded body. Oh… She spoke with surprise as she found her center. Anu hated to keep her, but the Manor was not far and yet if she fell on her way… If it isn’t too much trouble, I would appreciate it. My home is not far, just in that direction. She pointed towards the pack’s house and the gardens and fruit trees that were planted along one side of it.

It had always been easy for Anann to look past outward appearances. Some thing that was quite rare where she had come from and one of the traits that provided so-called proof that she was her own mother incarnate for those had believed in the legends of her lineage. Indeed. Anann did not want to dwell on the darker subject. Much too close to the reasons that had caused her to leave the past behind her. The apparent peaceful relations between their two packs was proof enough that the Dreamers were hardly wolf elitists. For if they were it was unlikely that they would be on such good terms with the Cours and their dog king.

Since birth her life had been planned for her. She had known the path her life would follow and could even guess at it's end. All of that had changed with her coming here. She had not given an over abundance of thought to romantic relations, now that she longer held the obligations to her betrothed. She had been hurt by his refusal to come with her. Apparently the feelings she had thought they had shared had been some sort of delusion. It would be a lie to say his absence had not left a void in her but nor was she in any rush to fill it. Though it was also a lie to say there no one that had caught her eye as well.

Once Anu had made it to her feet and found her balance Anann trotted over the edge of the lake. Lapping at the water's surface, quenched the thirst the had been building in her since the little escapade with the bull moose. Come along Rem, we are walking the lt. General home. She called over her shoulder as she went to stand along side the tawny leader. It's no trouble at all, shall we? Had Anann known of the orchard perhaps she would have sent the stallion home without her. Once he saw the many fruit trees he just might not ever leave.

Anu would always have a close relationship with the Cours pack, no matter what species of canine lived there. As long as Haven resided within it’s borders Anu would forever be connected to them, and she did not mind it. Everyone that she had met from the pack were just as polite and pleasant as her own were, and their alliance was a respected one for the second in command. The help that Anann was giving her would also not be forgotten and just as she wished to tell the AniWayan tribes leader of his followers hospitality Anu would sing her praises to Anann’s king.

She took a large deep breath, finding her center and then began to walk after the golden wolfess. It was not far to the borders of the orchard that was like her second home. It was likely that she was dehydrated, but it was the fatigue that would set the mother to be back for a day or so and a settled sleep was what she yearned for. Blue eyes looked to see the large horse following just as his friend asked. She marveling the connection that Anann and her Rem held, for the dark creature watched Anu with the same amount of interest as they walked along the woodland trail.

Her paw steps were heavy, but each was planted on the ground. Solid and firm. There was not chance that she would fall now, the brief rest making her legs strong. Anu walked beside the fey as they parted through the forest and found the rows of small fruit bearing trees. They only had small leaf green buds dotting each of the gnarled branches, nothing was ripe this time of year. Please forgive the wayward branches and weeds, I have been unable to tend to the orchard and the garden since I can’t shift. Her voice was not filled with shame, but Anu still felt bad for letting something she had dedicated so much time to get beyond her control.

It had always been difficult for Anann to sit still for long. The feeling that there was something to be done would creep up on her and nag away at the back of her mind, filling her with an anxious energy. So long as she was in motion or her hands had something to do she could avoid the anxious, restless feeling. That wasn't to say she hadn't enjoyed the time spent laying under the shade tree with the tawny Dreamer. Anann had enjoyed her company, but she had remained idle about as long as she could stand. Even if it was just a lazy stroll, it kept her limbs in motion.

Their pace was slow and steady as they headed slightly deeper into the Crimson Dreams territory, neither in a hurry. Anu had not been joking when she had said it was not far. It was a short walk through the trees before they came to the edge of the orchard. Rem stood stock still, staring alertly at the trees. After some sort of snort that Anann would say was a snort of disbelief, he trotted to the closest tree. Raising his velvelty nose to the branches and sniffing at the leaves and budding fruits. He pranced and bucked, going from tree to the the next like a honey bee. Sniffing each one in turn.

Anann sat on her haunches a moment, watching the doings of the stallion. She wore a broad smile and laughter danced in her eyes. I haven't seen him this excited in a long time. He had been hunting for fruit trees. There were orchards back home, so he is quite attatched to his apples and pears. Anann wasn't sure if Rem had found any fruit trees in the Cour's lands. She hadn't gone out of her way to look for any but she would know once it was time for the apples and pears to ripen. I'm afraid you might him to be a frequent visitor now that he has seen this. She said with a laugh.
