ooc- one other please

Continuing his wandering of the Nova Scotian land, Tsrmono meandered his way towards a different territory. The jackal hadn't really accomplished much, but he simply collected his intel for the packs in the area. He wanted to understand how each was different. One was a coyote clan, one was full of mutts, and another was a plain old wolf pack. The only interesting ones so far were the mutt pack, and the coyote clan. Even then, what really interested him was the set of jackal hybrids that seemed to roam around near the clan. He assumed they were a part of that clan, and he was very set on meeting them.

Stepping carefully towards the territory, Tsrmono weaved his way around the trees and various objects that littered the ground. From where he was he could see some debris, similar to a plane, in the distance. He didn't know there were remnants of human artifacts in the area. He would have to make a mental note of their locations, and study them on a later day. For now he rested, safely outside the borders of the pack territory. He may not emotions, but he knew common courtesy when it came to packs.

Heya! (300+)

A ghost of a shadow moved out of the treeline directly in front of the jackal, several dozen meters away. Caedres' lithe frame exited the vegetation with a slow, sure stride until he was right on the edge of his new pack's territory. The gray eyes never left the body of the animal in front of him as he stopped and appeared to relax.

Odd. A jackal in this area? Well, maybe it wasn't too unusual here. Afterall, he was new to the area himself. Still, he made it his personal duty to patrol the borders. Peace is a great thing, but unfailingly it never stayed for too long. He studied the jackal with a curious light in his eyes, drinking in everything about the animal from its dark fur to the way it held itself. Caedres himself stood as if at easy looking position while his muscles were slightly tensed, ready to move in any direction if necessary. With no idea what the jackal wanted, Caedres had to have a contigency for anything. He also had no want to start the conversation himself, prefering to just be there as a warning to the other predator, and in case of negotiations, a liason to his pack. The jackal was of immense interest to him. Not only was it out and about next to the Crimson Dream borders, but Caedres had never really talked to a jackal before. Maybe this could turn into a lesson in life.

His own fur, differing in shades of grays very like an imminent thunderstorm, clung to the shadows as if it was meant to be a part of them. Tail, slightly raised, tongue rolling lightly out of his jaws... he seemed as relaxed as could possibly be. The slate gray eyes never left the object of Caedres' attention, almost as of he was looking through the loner.

ooc-Big Grin

And so it began, as a grey form slithered out of the foliage. This wolf was most likely a part of the nearby pack, although he smelled relatively new. Tsrmono was new himself, although he remained unattached to any pack, free from being anchored to any part of the land. He also quite liked being by himself. His solitary habits were not the only thing that kept him alone, but his demeanor and his lack of personality. That and his odd looks also kept many at bay.

Here, however, this wolf seemed quite interested, although Tsr couldn't tell whether it was a good interest or not. Technically he wasn't trespassing on the packlands, so he was free to remain where he was as he pleased. He sat where he was, looking right back at the wolf. His soulless eyes burned a hole right through the fur of the grey male, as he remained quiet for a moment. Then he spoke, breaking the silence. "Yes?"

Sorry its short =/

The jackal responded in kind to Caedres' actions until finally it spoke. A smile almost, almost broke through his demeanor. This was the kind of situation he was built for. Words only meant so much, and it was obvious that the jackal wasn't going to be fooled into doing anything rash or be persuaded to just walk away. Everything go interesting in just one word. Now if only all conversations could be like this...

His head cocked to the side, locking gray eyes to jackal eyes, tongue still hanging loosely out. His tail began to wag slowly and lightly as his mood started to change from wary to quietly excited.

"No?"

ooc- it's fine :3

As the grey male became quietly excited, Tsrmono actually became more confused. The male seemed to have gotten excited over a single word, which meant almost nothing. For Tsr, this male acted more like he was simply interested in him by his looks, which he could say attracted quite a bit of attention. The wolf wagged his tail and responed with one word as well. Which was "no".

Now Tsrmono was perplexed. Did this male think this was a game? That because he looked like a puppy meant that he only played simple and pointless games. Tsr snorted quietly amd responded simply. "We do not comprehend."

XD

"Does that mean comprehension is beyond you, or that you do not comprehend my answer? And by 'we', do you mean there is more than one of you?"

The fact that the jackal used the plural form was unusual, and made the conversation that much more interesting. Although from the reaction that the animal gave it seemed like it wasn't as interested. Caedres was hoping to learn a bit more before this ended one way or another. He wasn't looking for a fight, but he also would not let the jackal distract him enough to enter the territory, at least not without finding its intentions.
