Amazing table by Sara Joe

Ayita looked around she didn't really recognize where she was. The forest seemed so different to her and she wasn't exactly sure where she was. She wandered around as she found a pond. She was so glad to be in Lupus form she was able to move across the area quite easily. She was taking some time to just be. She now had another pup in her capable hands and the funny thing was that she was nicer to her.

She sat down by the small pond and looked into the water. She hated the rain. And it made the surface of the pond uneasy and no reflection could be made out easy. She was rather soaked but she didn't really mind it. She was just happy to have some space away form her family. She'd have to see Strel and apologize. She felt so bad and she was tired and so she figured it was bugging her more.

Wandering new lands Yuki always kept close to clearings. It gave her a sense of security in far away lands, even in the ones that could be considered dangerous. She spotted a small clearing near the edge of a pond. As she neared the small pond full of fresh water waiting to be lapped up by her rough tongue, she noticed she was not alone. She sniffed the warm air and gathered up the scent of another female, a full blooded wolf. She turned to face the smell and observed the being. She straightened up slightly seeing that the wolf was a bit bigger then her, though she had learned that a lot of things seemed to be bigger then her.. Yuki eventually relaxed enough to lean down and drink some of the water she had been longing for when she saw that the wolf seemed tired. Obviously to tired to attack her.

“Hello there.” She said cautiously eying the wolf again. What could she ever be doing out here alone Yuki thought to herself. She looked like the kind of wolf that would have a pack, a family, unlike herself of course. She had learned the skill of knowing how to tell these things accurately; most of the time at least.
Yuki sat down while her ears jumped to attention at the sound of a bug buzzing near by; she tried her best to ignore it as she waited for the wolf's response.

Ayita was at peace not dealing with anyone today as she sat by the pond alone. Yes it was raining but that was not going to stop her from enjoying her time alone. She yawned a bit as she bent down and drank. She thought about hunting out here seeing if there was something she could catch to bring home to her family.

Looking up her attention was caught by a greeting. She had noticed the other a little but she hadn't really paid attention for she hadn't felt threatened. "Hello." She said smiling. She was calm and not going any where fast. "I'm Ayita and you are?" Another mix mutt she thought. She had come to see that so many here were not pure bread. It didn't bug her much at all but it just mad her wonder. She wondered why there were so many mixes here.

“My name is Yuki.” she said to the stranger named Ayita. She turned her head to gaze at her reflection in the pond. Her smooth fur was smoothed down, her mane almost completely flat from the rain. As droplets of water seeped down to her skin goosebumps moved over her back. Her fur stood on end, trying to keep out the freezing rain. Yuki turned her head to study a spiders web, the rain had been quite gentle on it. Either that or it was a very strong web, she thought to herself.

“Tell me Ayita, do you come here a lot.. Er, often?”. She asked shyly. She wanted to engage in conversation, though she was figuring out fast that she was not very good at it. Part of life was being social, or so she had been told. Not that she actually believed it; she didn't often believe very many things people said. One of the best lessons she had learned was that any person could lie.

Tongue

Ayita smiled friendly as the other fea came closer to her and began to talk. The female names Yuki was focused on the water as well. Though it was raining the water was so beautiful. In so many area's the human pollution had been cleaned through years though some places she heard it was still rather bad.

"No not quite I'm just out her to be." She said she had no reason actually none she could think of. She just watched the other with her crystal blue orbs and smiled. She was just enjoying the day. A fish emerged from the water and splashed back in. Laughing a bit she thought about what she could do today maybe catch a fish she hadn't eaten that in a while.

Yuki thought about what the woman had said, 'out here just to be' she thought to herself. Funny how two people who came from different worlds could be the same on some level. As her eyes watched small pond, seeing the fish jump she was a bit startled. She stepped back some and looked at the fish, strange it was; fish was something she had not yet tasted. She pondered how the scales would taste if she accidentally swallowed one. It would probably taste like snake skin; she had learned what THAT tasted like the hard way. As her eyes turned back to the wolf she questioned her again "Have you ever tried that.. The fish I mean." She had an odd pause in the middle of her sentence, she didn't know much about this animal, maybe she didn't have the right to even talk about it. It was most likely wise not to talk about something you didn't know much about. How dumb she would sound if you weren't even supposed to eat that kind animal! She had a small meal earlier, a field mouse; not very good to completely satisfy your hunger. Yuki circled a small spot near the pond, softening the dirt to her liking. When she had finished,
she laid down in the bed she created for herself.

Ayita smiled at the female that joined her she wondered how she ended up here. Everyone happened to have stories and well it was fun to see what others stories were. She looked at the girl. "Fish oh well yes though they can be tricky to catch." She stated standing looking into the pond. "So you have never had one?" She asked looking more into the pond. A hunter on land she was a fisher in the water she was not. She hoped she could find an easy target but fish weren't like caribou or deer they were a bit harder to catch.

One paw in the water she slowly climbed in focused on the water and on the fish. They could tell movement and she didn't want to startle to many of them. Splashing in the water she started to confuse a cluster of fish as she kept up the attack splashing send one straiit to her she smiled snatching it up. She turned and looked at her. Stepping out of the water. "Catching fish is a lucky thing" She stated. "It seemed easy its not." pushing the fish at the girl. "Here."

New table credit to Ever. :3

As Yuki took notice of the woman named Ayita's words, she looked into the stream. Tiny fish were playing and splashing about, ignoring the fact that precipitation was spilling into the water they called home. She wondered if they couldn't feel it with their scaly skin protecting them, or maybe they were just stupid..

She watched with concentration as the female caught a fish. They were so different in the fact; when danger came they all scattered, but if it were to be a herd of elk they would all flee together. "Maybe they're just selfish.." She thought to herself, shaking her head. She was so lost in thought that she hardly noticed that the wolf had just offered her a meal! "Thank you, Madam!" She said sincerely. She had not eaten in a while, so even some thing scaly was starting to look good.

As she moved closer to the creature she breathed in the beautiful aroma of the meat. It seemed to cloud her mind, allowing her to think about nothing other then devouring it. She lowered her muzzle to the animal and began to scoff it down. She left the head and upper body and pushed it away slight with her paw towards the kind lady. "I'm sorry, Ayita, I seem to have almost forgot my manners." She licked the crimson blood off from around her face, before clearing it from her teeth and smilled a toothy grin towards the stranger. "There you are."
