Tongue

Ayita had been home with Ever and the little girl had startled the woman with the question she asked. She wasn't mad but taken a back by it. She wanted to become a wolf like her. She sat down and looked at the child. "I think its fine but I should talk it over with my mate and my daughter Amaranth they should know too." She said. She had so much she would have to talk to the girl about. Like what would happen. The effects the time it takes to control it.

Zafier and Amaranth smiled they were both filthy from the rain and the mud and sand. They were heading to dinner with Vigilante and Ayita. Though things were no longer weird with his sister finding out about the experiment and all. She was glad no one had told his niece.

Hello, Family Smile

The female nodded, her grey eyes sparkling like diamonds. But the sparkle quickly dulled. She hadn't seen Vigilante since that horrible evening when she had met him. He had taken her in so kindly and she would always be in his debt. The young wolf couldn't help feel excited as she waited for her new father to come through the door. Though, her step sister was a different story. She had not met the older female and was slightly worried about the way her adopted mother talked about her. Ever shuffled her paws and looked down at her chest. The tips of silver fur were curling from the rain water. She licked them tenderly until they had smoothed.

Bright eyes watched from the gathering darkness outside, hungry for food. Not a single mind noticed the soft drops of rain that began to fall from the murky clouds above. The sunset reflected on the sea, turning it golden as the waves rippled upon the shore. Just in a blink of the eye, the gentle down pour collected into a shower of drops that splattered on the ground, sinking into the mud that was already churned by the last storm.

Ever let her gaze slip out the window towards the sea as it welcomed the rain into it's depths. She layed down on the carpet and closed her eyes. The warmth had made her eyes heavy though she could not sleep. Any minute now Ayita or Vigilante's strong blood could be flowing through her veins, burning her normal wolf DNA. The female shivered out of excitement and opened her colorless eyes again. The rain crashed harder with the swipe of the wind and clicked on the side of the house.

I am soooo sorry for the dreadful wait! D:

After the influx of joiners the pack had faced recently, the caramel-colored dog King had been spending even more time patrolling the borders. Though none had been hostile (Jazia included, despite her trespassing and rudeness towards Rurik), he knew it could only be a matter of time with how frequent newcomers had become. He was not willing to take any risks with the safety of his pack and family, absolutely not. Vigilante valued both things far too much to let anything harm anyone he cared for.

It was getting later, though, and Vigilante wanted to return to the house in the city. He wanted to be with his family now, his patrol done for the time being. He stood on two legs today, letting himself into the house with the hope that his family would be there. It was possible they would be out doing something else. Pleasantly, he saw them all; his mate, her brother, her daughter, and the girl he'd taken in were all present. He leaned down to kiss Ayita's cheek, then smiled happily, more broadly than usual. "How are you all today?" he asked. He intended to spend more time at home, from now on, with less time being spent patrolling the borders all day.

Zafier swung the door open with all his might as he smiled walking in. "Hello sister dear. Of my and Lord Vigilante." He said bowing. Looking at his sister he gave her a look which almost made her want to shrink down and vanish.

Ayita smiled at vigilante kissing him back. Her stupid annoying older brother was well annoying. She looked at him shaking her head. 'You both are filthy Amaranth go and change and Zafier you grab that towle and dry yourself off." She said.

Zafier nodded as he looked at vigi and then and the silverish female pup. 'Who's the kid?" He asked? as Ayita looked at him if only looks could kill he'd be dead.

"Ever meet my older brother Zafier its ok if you ignore him." She said as before she could finish any sort of statement zafier was near the girl. "Why hello so I see my sister and brother in law have given you a home. Its nice to meet you Ever."

Ever never had a papa really, so she likes Vigi Tongue

It was a larger family, that was clear when suddenly her father and two more luperci wolves came in. She felt so small, standing on four legs in the middle of the room. Looking up admiringly at her mother and father kissing, she also felt like she at least wanted to be there. Though the storm cloud came with a ask about her and more introductions. So the other wolves were her uncle and her step sister. It was a lot to process and to remember. She wanted to laugh for the female could agree to her mother’s statement about the two. The wolves were covered in rain and mud. Her metallic colored irises were wide, taking in every shred of the scene she could. It had been a long time since she had experienced anything like a family moment.

Still she felt out of place. Of course she wanted to be the missing puzzle piece of the family but before that there were matters to attend to. Ever glanced over to her father and mother, who she already felt the closest to, and stood. Snaking her slim body across the floor and lightly leaning on her father’s leg.

Vigilante did not feel particularly welcomed by the words that Zafier spoke, but he chose not to comment on the fact that his brother-in-law obviously still did not approve of him. "I see you two were busy?" he inquired with a bemused smile, taking in the filthy state of the pair. The air seemed to be mildly tense, and there was something on Ayita's mind. That was probably what was making her even more annoyed by Zafier's words. He turned a curious jade gaze to his mate, but he did not speak then, for he felt the pressure of Ever leaning against his leg then.

The King knelt down beside her, looping his arm around her neck in a hug. He was glad to see that she was well, though she seemed to be a bit nervous. "There is no need to be shy, Ever," he said with a smile. He did not want her to think he was chiding her—he certainly was not—but he wanted her to feel comfortable in her new home and with her new family.

Amaranth looked at her mother and father as she walked out cleaned up. Dad I havent seen you in forever I miss you. She said clinging herself to him she didn't enjoy seeing Ever clinging to her father and the only one she thought that cared about her. She smiled looking down at the girl.

She was kind of tired so she detatched herself from him and sat down next to her mother. She had no intentions of anything and she was very happy to be growing into her growing body she would soon have to see Strel her mothers friend who made her cloths. She wanted him to fix them up more or she might wait untill she was fully growm so that she could have them for ever.

Looking over her amber splashed muzzle up at Vigilante, the silver girl nodded but remained by the male. Finding nothing else to keep her humming mind occupied, the wolf listened to the rain on the roof. She could almost picture herself in her mind’s eye wandering aimlessly through the wet weather. Fortunately, she was inside a warm shelter with a wonderful family. But suddenly, she felt Vigilante move with the weight of another. Glancing to his other side, Ever expected to still see Ayita, but instead there was Amaranth clinging on his arm. She looked into his eyes gratefully and stated how she had missed him. Then she looked down at the girl, eyes cold but maw forming a smile. Ever smiled back, shyly. This must be what a family was like, always somehow being with each other. And now the female was over satisfied.
