She always wanted what she never had, but never had what she needed so badly:
Yuki's life consisted of twisted lies and death. Some thing that most pups at her age shouldn't of even known about. Her mother(Kina) was a bitter-sweet abusive bitch. She had convinced Yuki's brothers and sisters that they were the mistake, when Kina HAD been the one to ruin every thing. She had mated with one outside of their pack, just as she was supposed to be earning back her rank from a earlier incident that the pups had never even heard about. Her mother had been excluded from the pack even before the pups were born, as soon as it was known that she had betrayed the pack, she was chased off from their lands, leaving her to raise the pups alone. Kina was completely un-affectionate towards them, rarely even brushing past them. The only home they had ever known was a small hole under rotted, tangled, roots. It wasn't very safe, any day the loose dirt could fall in and bury them. But that was not the only problem, the den was subject to intruders of all sorts.
The only friend Yuki had ever known was her brother(Kurotsuki). He was brave and strong, she was convinced that he could take on the whole damn world any day. His coat was as dark as the night, it shined under the Sun's rays as if stars were placed upon it. They would play near the meadow that lay outside of their 'den' until darkness crept over the boundless hills. He was every thing she wished she could be and more.
As they would wander around the meadow, they would some times find the old dame. The dame was a wolf of Luperci, she had been beautiful a long while ago, Miyako guessed. She was always gentle and caring, and carried much wisdom. One thing that amazed Yuki was her great knowledge of birds. Every time Kurotsuki and Yuki would visit, she would read to them from a large bird book wrapped with a leather cover, some times even teaching them how to read themselves.
When the cool fall turned to winter, December finally rolled around. The pups were still young, for the warmth of their mother's fur was still needed. But on the crisp night of the third of December, Kina's litter was left to die of cold as they waited for their mother to return from her hunt. Kina was producing little milk at this time, the pups were finally just learning to eat meat. But most of Kina's hunts, had been unsuccessful. When she finally returned home, she retreated to the back of the cave, her body curled into a tight ball and pressed against the wall. The moon shined through the creases between roots, but even with the beautiful orb of light making the ground sparkle, an uneasy feeling was left in the air. Yuki moved to her brothers side, snuggling close to him for comfort and warmth. He was fast asleep, his face glowing from the moonlight. She tried her best to keep herself from falling into the black behind her eye lids, but eventually drifted off. Her rest was filled with a mixture of reality and dreams, the spine tingling sound of screaming echoed through her ears. When her eyes shot open she searched through in the dark, searching for a clue of who was in pain. A sudden realization stabbed her like a knife, Kuro had left her. The smell of her mother's blood and the four other pups from her litter was heavy in the air. A dark figure blocked the path of the Earth's satellite, the muzzle of the creature close to her face as he said. "Where is he?" a mixture of a growl and howl made up his words as he panted heavily over her. The smell of crimson burned her nose, threatening to make her sick. "I- I don't know..!" Her words were blurred together. Before she had to scramble away, some thing that felt like a knife dragged down her stomach, piercing her skin with a scar that would never leave. But before she even had time to scream, the darkness filled her mouth and mind, leaving
Age: 1 Year.
She never looked in the mirror, she never liked what she would see:
Yuki is a thin built wolf, being only about 65 points in weight and 5 feet in length. She has a bulky muzzle, inherited from both her husky father and Ookami based mother. As a result of her flesh being tightly drawn around her torso area, her ribs stick out in an awkward manner compared to most. The basic structure of her paws are round and large, her pads are a light shade of black, and the webbed skin between them is a dark grey. Her nails are completely white, other then the dirt that coats them at times. They slide into a curve as they reach the end, which helps with ripping and tearing. She has bi-coloured eyes, her left is an icey blue, well her right burns a stunning gold. She has impaired vision in her blue eye, causing her vision to change on a day to day basis. Though some times her sight stays for a few days, she can be almost blind on others.
The fur that covers her body is silky and soft. In certain areas of her body it is longer then the rest, one being her neck. Her face is almost fully white, with two streams of light grey stretching from the base of her ear, down to her nose. The blue and gold orbs places upon her face are outlined by thick layers of black. Starting around her ears, her neck, back and tail are completely black. The tip of her tail matches her snow white under belly. Starting at her face and following down her neck and chest, a colourless silver covers her under belly, legs, and paws.
