Alder's attachment to the gray and tanned female was the same that every pup had for their mother, but his devotion towards her went a bit deeper. He was a welp that enjoyed and felt comfortable with habits and what he found familiar, and nothing was more familiar to the little male then Anu. There was a serenity that he felt at her side, the mysteries of the world gone, and Alder had only really known happiness and contentment when he was at her side. He didn't know that it was possible to find that feeling outside the realm of Crimson Dreams and his mother. He didn't even know that there was happiness for others without her in their lives as well. She was his Sun.
He smiled with a little bit of sleep in his eyes as she answered his question. Good he thought as he brightened, his mother was someone they would discuss this with and maybe even bring along. While other pups were thinking of how to be released by their parents grasp Alder was looking for ways to involve the woman. He loved her so dearly. Black marked eyes looked up at the taller wolf and cocked his head at her little challenge. He wasn't always up to racing, since he was quite slow in his pace and very reluctant to not know exactly where his paws were being placed. He was quite clumsy. But Ghita was not his brother that would make him feel bad when he lost and that comfort his felt made him nod his head and give a wide mouthed smile.
Then he was on his paws and dashing off toward the Manor. He could smell it now and its minutes it was in sight. The pup had to turn his head to see that Ghita was still behind him, his smile brightened and he even laughed at the idea of winning. The worries of the goose left him completely, new adventures planned and his mind content.
