Another Day, Another [P]romise

Element stared at the Manor. It was the second day he'd been there - he wasn't exactly sure why he was drawn to the place, but the thought of the humans making such a structure intrigued him. It was like the University with the Library - huge, incredible, and probably at one point, very useful. He was sure that the wolves in Crimson Dreams used it at some point - whether to hunt the small animals that no doubt lived there or to take shelter from storms, he did not know. But what he did know was that it was a good place - it gave off a sense of shelter, and of protection. It was like a good omen for the pack in which he met Alder.

He wasn't sure how much he was stretching his luck by going back here. Alder hadn't been hostile - but then again, this time he might not meet only a rambunctious puppy who wanted to play. This wasn't child's play, and this also wasn't to be taken lightly. No matter how kind the wolves seemed, he knew better than this. He shouldn't be here. Turning his paws in resignation, he began to turn back and head back to Halifax before the sun went down.

WC: --- OOC: Sorry it’s so short ; ; .

It had been a great day for Denali, he’d played around, practiced his pouncing with some unsuspecting lizards, all of which got away unscathed, all in all it was a great day. He was heading back home from the valley of flowers, when an unfamiliar scent came to him. He sniffed and it made him quite defensive. He hurried along the scent trail until he saw something staring at his home! A cat! A tiny growl came from his throat, he hated cats, they were so …. Cattish! Well he didn’t have a reason to really hate them but did he? He thought as he rushed after the cat, the adrenaline from his pouncing still running through his veins.

you don’t belong here!

He growled as he pounced at the cat, maybe this time he’d actually hit his mark, but after that he didn’t know what he would do. He did land on the cat, and all he did was bowl him over sideways, and he just stood over the cat.

Element suddenly heard a small voice behind him screech about him not supposed to be here - he whirled around just in time to see a small puppy with a startling look of hatred on his face pounce on him. He raised his paws in defense, but it was too late - the puppy bowled Element over and was now standing over him, looking at the black cat with a mixture of anger, hate and defiance on his face. Element flattened his ears, but didn't make any move to struggle - if the puppy wanted to get violent, he would be able to defend himself. But he wasn't about to pick a fight when there could be an adult wolf nearby.

"Which is why I was leaving," he said, his voice between a quiet meow and a hiss. He wanted to be threatening enough to make the pup let him go, but not so much that he went running to a wolf. If that happened, things could get very messy - for Element, that was. He kept his paws velveted, and was careful to make sure the claws didn't slip out - they were sharp, and could wound one greatly if used properly. Not only did he not want the youngster to get an adult wolf involved, Element had his own code of honor - he didn't want to hurt a young creature, even if it was a wolf pup hell-bent on attacking him and making him leave. Element was, after all, in his territory.

WC: Pitiful OOC: so outrageously short ; ;

Denali didn’t know why the cat didn’t fight back already, he figured he’d try to hit him or bit him or … well something. In hopes that he could make the cat do something, he growled and moved his face closer to the cat, but being a puppy and rarely being this angry or upset, he knew little of what to do. This was something he would have to remedy in the future.

What are you doing here? You says you know but you are here!

He said, instigating the cat, he didn’t have too many principals he ran on at the moment, he was still a puppy and he was trying to act like a grown up wolf, and wolves who didn’t like something tended to get rid of it.
